> 3 dayThe pad arrived quickly, well packaged. As others mentioned, it smells like new tires, lol. I unwrapped it and put it outside for a day, this helped a lot. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5...the pad is slightly too small for a standard front load washer on a base. We cut it in half, this worked just fine. The washer no longer travels across the room and is very stable and quiet. No more earthquakes when the washer is spinning!

> 3 dayBought this to go under my portable washer in my 2nd floor apartment. The house is old and there is minimal insulation so noise really travels. This purchase was an attempt to reduce noise levels and improve the neighbor relationship. I had to try it out as soon as it was delivered and honestly Im impressed. I can no longer hear the washer stop in the other room and when you feel the floor near the washer, the vibrations stop about 4 inches away. The vibrations are also very minimal. The mat is quite a bit larger than my washer. In the pic the mat is slid up under the counter and the washer is 2 inches away from the counter. in the future I may cut the side of the mat off and use it behind the washer so that I can push it back against the cabinet and have more stability.

> 3 dayI’m glad that others have found this useful for other applications, but it did nothing to cancel the noise from my husband’s oxygen concentrator. I’ve given it 3 stars because it fits the description given for it and is a very sturdy pad, but I couldn’t give it more since for our need, it was a big ol’ failure. I will keep it anyway - maybe it will come in handy for some other use down the road. Oh, and as others have said, it smells like a tire, but only if you’re right up close.

> 3 dayI bought this to put under a portable washing machine to protect the bathtub and stop the noise from bothering downstairs neighbors. It did a fine job protecting the tub and cut down on the noise a good deal in the apartment. It bent enough to fit snuggly in the tub and shows no sign of mold or mildew despite using it for several months. It does show fuzzies though if I try to dry it with a microfiber cloth.

> 3 dayI have a river stone bathroom floor with a portable washer so I needed something to be a stable and noise cancelling barrier between the two. The size was perfect. It works great! The washer doesn’t move and the vibration is gone!!

> 3 daythis mat helped a lot with out noisy front load washer but it was not wide enough for it so we had to cut it - wish it was couple of inches longer and wider

> 3 dayI purchased one for my washer and one for my dryer. They absorb about 80% of the vibration. In the past I could feel the floor shaking far away from the device. Now, I either feel only subtle vibrations or none at all. Five stars!
