GRAVE BEFORE SHAVE™ Cigar Blend Beard Balm (Cigar/Vanilla scent)(4 oz.)

Ive ordered this product numerous times and Ive tried a few different scents. I will be ordering again as soon as my latest batch gets low.

Ive been working on my beard for a little over a year. This was my first foray into the world of beard balms, butters, oils, etc. I got this around Christmas time. Too me the scent is beautiful and will always remind me of the magic of Christmas. My olfactory sense is very important to me, just as important as the conditioning, and holding ability of the balm itself. This ticks all the boxes. I have Grave Before Shave butters too. I like all their products. If you like rich balms with good holding power that will excite your olfactory sense, I recommend Cigar/Vanilla beard balm.

First off , this product smells fantastic ! It has a smell my girlfriend really likes and other people have commented on it too . I have only used a few beard balms and so far this one is at the top of my list . Its goes on pretty easy and it washes away just as easy . As far as the price , Id say its right on target with any of the other premium beard balms. Do yourself a favor and get a small can , Youll be buying the larger can after that just like I do.

I had my concerns about the 4oz not smelling the same as the 2oz. I took the gamble and so glad I did. Maybe the buyer on the other review just got a bad batch. I’ve used Honest Amish, Mountaineer, and others...but this GBS cigar/vanilla is by far the best. Great smell. Not a strong hold, but my beard lays pretty flat so I don’t need a strong hold. Keep in mind that what works for one guys beard doesn’t work for all. Gotta try different ones until you find the one that works for you. I highly recommend this balm.

Great product, keeps the beard manageable, cant wait to try out the other scents.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, but the balm itself is nice

I bought this to control a frizzy beard. Thanks to other reviewers for input on the pleasing scent. It really is nice. Not smoky as the title may imply. Its manly but not overpowering. It melts easily & goes on smooth. It has controlled 95% of my stray hairs but my beard is a little close-cropped right now too. That makes it hard to control all of the hairs. But I see a great deal of improvement so this product is a win for me. It delivers what it advertises. I recommend it and would buy it again.

The beard balm itself works very well. It has a good medium hold but you don’t need a heat gun or warm water to get it to melt, just put some in your palm and work between the fingers and it will melt. I’ve used many others over the years but this one takes the cake. I can’t describe how happy I am to finally find something that smells pleasant and leaves my beard feeling soft and luscious. This stuff is intoxicating. I love the scent and so does anyone that comes near me. It doesn’t smell like cigars or smoke so don’t let it stear you away from getting this. It goes on nice and smooth with no clumps and the container looks cool as well. Mine was a little dented but I don’t mind that one bit with a product so fantastic. The smell is one that I find hypnotizing. The second I get a whiff of the long lasting lingering scent from this stuff, the more I go searching for it again, it’s absolutely lovely. I found my go to beard balm after many years of searching. Now for the people complaining about the lid of the container, I haven’t had any issues taking it off or putting it back on. It pops right off for me.

This is only the second beard product that Ive used, only recently deciding to add any length to my beard. I love the smell of this product and how little is needed at each application to achieve a all day hold. The scent is not over whelming but lingers all day. The only thing which I did not like about this was the can itself. It was extremely difficult to open and it has to remain open in order to use it. I would recommend that the manufacture consider using threaded can for future production.
