The beard balm itself works very well. It has a good medium hold but you don’t need a heat gun or warm water to get it to melt, just put some in your palm and work between the fingers and it will melt. I’ve used many others over the years but this one takes the cake. I can’t describe how happy I am to finally find something that smells pleasant and leaves my beard feeling soft and luscious. This stuff is intoxicating. I love the scent and so does anyone that comes near me. It doesn’t smell like cigars or smoke so don’t let it stear you away from getting this. It goes on nice and smooth with no clumps and the container looks cool as well. Mine was a little dented but I don’t mind that one bit with a product so fantastic. The smell is one that I find hypnotizing. The second I get a whiff of the long lasting lingering scent from this stuff, the more I go searching for it again, it’s absolutely lovely. I found my go to beard balm after many years of searching. Now for the people complaining about the lid of the container, I haven’t had any issues taking it off or putting it back on. It pops right off for me.

This beard balm works well, definitely helps keep your beard in line and moisturized, I dont have the sense of smell but my wife loves the smell. Id suggest dampening your beard, add beard balm and blow dry while brushing, makes my beard a bit puffy but still controllable.

This product is by far the hands down best out there. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Yeah sure, you can purchase a much cheaper product thinking that you just saved yourself some money, BUT you will not be happy with it. Grave Before Shave beard balm is the smoothest beard balm available and the scent is incredible. Immediately after the very 1st application you will know this as the scent stays with you throughout the day. A barbershop quality that doesnt fade. It works really well, I didnt need to apply as much as I expected. I learned however that I have a sensitivity to scented items like this and lotion and I cannot use it anymore. It will make a good gift though.

The vanilla candle odor is pretty strong.

My husband is a beard snob. He absolutely loves this product and gets compliments on how nice he smells when he uses this.
