> 3 dayi shouldve read reviews before ordering...its ok, & well priced, but it didnt look sooo dark in the picture. i didnt want a white skull, but wanted more of an aged one, but this is really dark brown. also i didnt look at size...wanted something a little bigger, but didnt want to spend $29 like the others were on here.its just for halloween on the fireplace mantle, so it works for that purpose

Greater than one weekFirst the good: the molding detail is just excellent. Now the rest: its pretty small. I read the reviews and knew it would be, but I was still a little surprised by the size. Im going to try to post a picture of it next to a life size skull to really show the difference. Its a shame, because again, this thing is super realistic (in the molding). The other problem is the painting. I was worried about the red around the eye sockets, but thats not too bad, HOWEVER, there are a few small rubbed/missed spots of no paint where the jawbone meets the skull on one side, which was a real bummer. That was what dropped my review from 4 stars to 3. I guess if you were creative, you could fix or enhance the paint. I got it for $9.50, in my mind, i would have been happier if it was $7-$8.

> 3 dayI have picked up several of these over the months to fashion into some Halloween projects. The skulls are definitely smaller than a full-sized adult type skull. One reviewer likened to child sized... while mildly disturbing, I would have to agree. The material is a hard resin that will not survive dropping or mishandling. Dropping it would undoubtedly break it into a bunch of pieces. But, it can be drilled, filed, or sawed if you are careful. The interior of the cranium is hollow allowing you to install lights or wiring if you are willing to cut the holes since no holes exist to the inside of the skull. Those you would have to make on your own if you were inclined. So for the right price its a pretty good skull with decent coloring and exterior molding that should work for most people straight up out of the box. Plus it does lend itself to modifications should you wish to go that route too.

> 3 dayI get so many reactions with this on my desk. I named mine Jerome and that seems to prompt even more/better reactions.

13-04-2025I’m a teacher and I brought this in as a Halloween decoration. My students have named him JMurrkay (the J and k are silent so it’s pronounced Murray). They won’t let me bring him home bc he’s our class mascot.

> 3 dayThis was not what I was looking for, its is tiny, from the picture in the advertisement I was expecting a adult sized replica. Gave to thrift store for Halloween.

> 3 dayThis was honestly much better than I expected for the price. As another reviewer suggested, the skull is fragile, and will break if dropped (yup, I accidentally verified that the hard way!). I don’t mind though - it means the skull feels more like ceramic than plastic. It has good weight to it, and is about the height of a soda can. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the coloring, but a bottle of spray paint fixed that right up :)

> 3 dayI work in a call center where - bless them - they allow us to have flair on our desks. I figured that this would be a good base for my lucha mask and headset. I didnt read the dimensions of the skull, so it was... a bit smaller than expected. It looks really, really cool (and scare the hell out of my wife when she opened the box, a bonus no matter who you are), its just really, really small. Too small for lucha mask and/or headset. It actually looks like I decapitated a small child, so not quite the aesthetic that I was aiming for. But it DOES look really good and very realistic. So theres that.

> 3 dayFirst, its smaller than you think. I am guessing the stated dimensions are accurate and that my estimate of what those dimensions look like are just off. But its about the size of a large apple. Id say, even if it wasnt damaged, the price @ $18 is too high. But, then again, I am guessing that is also pre-Halloween gouging. The bigger issue is that as soon as I got it out of the packaging (and it is packaged very well) I could see the finish was rubbed off in several places. Upon touching those areas, more of the finish just came off on my finger. Its like they got hydro-dipped or sprayed with the finish but whatever the finish is, is very thin and flakey. I think they need to hit these with a thick coat of polyurethane after the finish or something. Whatever the case, I am sending it back.
