Bought 2 of these for our backpacking trip. Lightweight, the lid fit perfect and kept my coffee from cooling off to quickly.

Used it on my trip to Moab, Utah the beginning of April. Kept my coffee nice and warm. It did everything it was supposed to do. Ordering a couple of more for the kids for their backpack kits. I would recommend it to anyone not wanting to spend a ton on a mug and its pretty light too.

Only used it for hot chocolate in the mornings camping. Kept my drink warm for awhile.

Goes perfect with their mini coffee maker.

This is even lighter than I expected, and its the perfect size for my purposes. Its great how it has the volumetric markings inscribed so you can see them inside the mug (with the sleeve on). It feels nice and durable so Im not worried about it falling apart anytime soon. I even ripped off its tag in my excitement and managed to send the little flippy mouthpiece part flying. But it just snapped right back in place without a scratch anywhere! I just bought this for backpacking but this is prolly gunna be my new daily mug to be honest. Itll match perfectly with my insulated nalgene I carry the rest of the time! One note is that I selected the green picture that reads red in the actual option box. Mine is green. And the green is a better color than the picture in my opinion so no love lost there.

Use it for through hiking, the jacket will fray after shorttime, but oh well

I dont even know how to backpack without this mug anymore....its great! Super lightweight, easy to clean (even on trail), multipurpose, clear/helpful measuring lines on the cup which is SO convenient (and easier to read than the measures you usually get on metal cups). Great work, GSI.

I used the mug during a week long canoe trip to Minnesotas BWCA. It kept my beer cold and my coffee warm. I found the nylon handle to work well. All plastic mugs I have taken to the BWCA handles are broken immediately from banging around in the canoe. When I arrived at home the plastic insert and lid went into the dishwasher. I never checked but I believe they are dishwasher safe.
