HABA My Very First Games - First Orchard Cooperative Board Game for 2 Year Olds (Made in Germany)

Bought for my two year old to learn to play games. He still doesn’t quite have the attention span to play for the full game, but we are loving teaching him to take turns and how to identify colors. This game is a great first board game, with beautiful large wooden pieces that are well made and easy to grasp. Only annoying thing is the image for the bread basket and the crow on the die look kind of similar, which confuses me as well as my son.

This game is perfect for my two year old to learn how to match and take turns and about losing. My 4 year old also enjoys playing it.

This game was a game-changer for my two year old who always wanted to play games with her eight year old brother. He even plays it willingly with her.

What I liked about the game is that the players are not competing against each other but rather against the crow.

This game is worth the money - the pieces are high quality and my 2-year old loves it! Cooperative gameplay is wonderful at this age

We love the game for our 2 year old however we received it with no red apples even though it was sealed when it arrived... we are using toys instead but would love a replacement if it can be sent!

Im an avid board gamer myself, Ive been looking at some early games to introduce to my just-turned-13 daughter. I had picked up a few like Pengaloo (bit too old for multiple actions in a turn), and Go Away Monster (more fun as a toy than a game). My mother in law got her Chutes and Ladders which she was understandably bored with after 3 minutes. Then came First Orchard...

The wooden fruit is beautiful and I love the simplicity of the game. My kids love picking the fruit and pretending we are going on a picnic.

Bought this as a gift. It is so nice to give a family a gift they can do together as a family. The quality is alway great and it is made so the young members of the family can also play. This is one of my go to gift purchases.

My 2.5 year old loves to play this game - we can play it twice before he starts to lose interest but teaching him rules and play structure are a great experience.
