Used to secure a tall slim glass cabinet, used different hardware, and made a loop of the wire instead of leaving in straight, in order to have less slack. Well made design, easy to remove when needed.

Excellent wall anchor! Had a piece of furniture I was looking to secure to wall for safety purposes and this for the bill perfectly. You cant even see then after install.

These are made of quality materials and when installed properly are very very effective. Just make sure you install them into a stud in your wall, otherwise it will be pointless.

Easy to understand and completed install easily. Hardest part was finding a stud in our wall! Installed two on a 200+ lb China cabinet. One consideration is length of included screws. If you live in an old home, one with renovations, or one where studs are more challenging to find you may need to buy a longer screw to use to anchor into. Stud - sincerely 100 year old home owners

While the design is obviously for wooden furniture, the kit also works great on wire media rack type shelving, provided its very close to the wall. I have a media shelf thats roughly 6 tall, and has never been as stable as I mightve liked. Yesterday it toppled, hitting me in the head, and I immediately ordered this kit. While my method should perhaps be taken with a grain of salt, as its not the manufacturers intended use, by using the wall mount and a single pin/clip, you can loop the steel cable through the wire of the media shelf, putting the pin through both ends of the cable, and secure the shelf to the wall this way, even though theres no surface on which to install the second mount.
