Hadnt done pour overs before, but learned from a friend and this kit has everything needed. Much better taste and great for trying some different roasts & beans. Highly recommend!

This is a good kit I purchased after falling in love with blue bottle coffee and their hand dripped selections, OMG... This kit was a perfect starter kit. I just purchased a nice burr grinder, some extra filters in advance, and a kitchen scale to weigh my coffee beans and water for the perfect cup. Oh I also recommend you purchase a nice glass mug to enjoy all of the goodness again and again. For some reason I swear coffee tastes better in glass than any metal mug or thermos from my experience.

I use regular grind coffee. My favorite brew is French press, but reports are not as favorable regarding healthiness, so switched to pour over with a kettle that has a temperature gauge. I might be hard pressed to tell the difference in taste in a blindfold test, though French press generally has more body. I think the body contains the not-so-good-for-you ingredients. It is hard to main temperature for 2nd cup, though I use a tea cozy. Also, would love to find a 6-cup version to use when company arrives.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 28 year old son. He uses it everyday and makes the most delicious flavored coffees. He loves this item and he says he will definitely buy another one in the future.

Very good kit

Easy to clean.

I bought this V60 package to replace my Keurig (hated the sludgy, muddy coffee), which I bought to replace my Aero Press (missed the smell of coffee brewing). Finally - a coffee maker that meets all my criteria! First few cups were made with previously ground coffee - smooth, clean, robust cup of coffee. That encouraged me to try to grind it on my own, so I bought a grinder, some beans, and went to town (already had a scale). After a few wrong turns, I have finally made the perfect cup/s for me (I drink 2 cups/morning). So glad I did. Highly recommend the V60 for anyone wanting to up their coffee game.
