Greater than one weekI have been very happy with this silver solder for 40 yrs which is why I keep coming back. Use Radnor (Harris) Stay-Silv white brazing flux (a small container will last a VERY long time and as it dries out it is occasionally necessary to add a few drops of water to return the flux to the right viscosity to stay where you put it).

> 3 dayDoes a great job brazing copper or dissimilar metals. Has a lower melting point that 15% Sil-Fos and flows more like soft solder. My go to for brass to copper brazing jobs. Flux as needed.

> 3 dayJust to let everyone know, the picture is of Sfety-Silv 55, but the description is correct, it was Safety-Silv 56 that was delivered.

> 3 dayThis solder comes in a nice plastic can. It should be 31 gram of it, bit I have measured 32.5 gram - not a bad deal. The solder is in the form of 1/16 diameter wire coiled for convenience. It measures .062 in diameter. I did not try it yet, but hope it will work with Harris black flux and propane torch.
