Greater than one weekThe solder melts as expected and the flux flows.

> 3 dayIf you dont want to mess with oxy-acetylene on copper connections then this is the kit to have on hand. You can find all kinds of positive reviews and uses of this in HVAC connections as well as potable water because its lead free. No need to flow nitrogen because it can be used with Mapp gas. Very happy.

> 3 dayVery easy to use! Much safer, faster, easier, and cleaner than brazing! Hands down the BEST silver solder on the market!

Greater than one weekI was skeptical that a solder could be strong enough to hold up to 300+psi of r410a, but heard good things so I gave it a try. Ive used it on several residential AC installs and it has been flawless, less leaks than brazing and wayyyy faster than brazing. You have to use Emory cloth and/or wire brush to clean the fitting very well and use less flux than you normally would with plumbing solder, just make sure to use flux on the male fitting at least. It has been a complete game changer. Instead of hauling around a heavy ass welding rig, I can just carry a 5 pound map gas torch and get it all done fast! I will be sticking with this if all proves leak free in the long term.

> 3 dayUsed this instead of brazing my ac lineset. With this, there’s no need for flowing nitrogen while soft soldering. Used on a 410a system and holds up to the higher pressures just fine.
