Im not sure what the issue is for other reviewers, but I purchased one of these and it works so well I bought another one. I did not download any separate app, the app that I use for indoor lights and things actually noticed the stake right away and connected it. Ive been able to set timers, set up scheduling based on astronomical stuff, etc. I dont use an Alexa or Google Home because I dont like voice control, but my app does have that functionality so I assume it would work just as easily. I have had no issues putting in any type of plug, either... One reviewer said that only indoor plugs worked, but all of my outdoor extension cords and outdoor cables all plug in easily with enough space to use all outlets if I want. I have it hooked up to a transformer for pathway lights in the backyard, and its set up for my porch lights (Edison LED string lights) in the front yard. I have added holiday lights to it as well. This has been easily the best option I have found for outdoor smart power. Its better than some of my indoor outlets. Unfortunately, it is not weatherproof for in-use, so I am fitting plastic boxes around them to further protect them from rain. That would be my ideal product, but no smart plug that Ive found has the in-use rain cover. It would also be great if I could control the outlets separately, or at least by side... But that is something that the indoor ones still struggle with too. This is perfect otherwise, and, for the price, it cant be beat.

We have had a bit of a wet winter thus far and this things has had no issues whatsoever. I love the spike that you can use stake into the ground for easy set up and the 6 outlets allow for a courteous amount of room for the plugs for all of my Christmas lights. The one touch button to power on or off all of your lights is a nice feature. I still need to get accustomed to the automatic features and the connectivity with my Google Home so I cant attest very well to that function, but as for just a simple outdoor power hub its perfect!

This is being used to control my Christmas lights. It has been rained on and is still working. It was easy to download the app on my iPhone that allows me to turn on my lights with my phone, or set up schedules for when I want the lights to turn on/off, or even use Amazon Alexa to turn the on/off via voice. There are 6 outlets, all of which have a plastic door/cover to protect unused outlets. This is really a great way to control my Christmas lights.

I purchased one of these last year and loved it, so this year I bought a second. They manage our holiday lights beautifully! I love the app functionality from my phone, the Alexa comparability and the way I can sync multiple devices together.

I no longer have to go outside to plug in the lights. I can handle everything using Google assistant. Love this product! Very happy!

This product is great in theory. However, it is super limited on what can be plugged in. The plastic door covers stick out therefore limiting you to only plugging in things with very small or narrow plug heads. We could not plug in 5 of our 6 blow up characters and none of our outdoor light strands fit. Sadly returning it. It would have been great if there was just a little space in between the outlets on it and those plastic doors were either set back or designed differently.

Excellent product! It endured quite the snow fall, the wind and heavy rain. Functions with Alexa so I could ask Alexa to turn it off from the comfort of my sofa when it was too windy for the inflatables it was powering, it also blended well with the lawn so it was not taking away from my decor. Overall A+. Would absolutely recommend.

One of the worst wireless devices I ever purchased. I did every step of every direction, watched several videos and it will not sync to my phone on my 2.4ghz wifi.

Easy to use and takes the hassle out of going outside to turn on/off lights

This felt cheaply built, and could NEVER get it to connect to the app. Ended up returning as this was completely useless and didnt work as advertised. Instructions were not very well written and not clear. Too generic.
