> 24 hourWorked like a charm. Lists itself as an AX88179A (USB 3.2 Gen 1) chip. Connects at gigabit speeds and appears to be delivering on that. Stays cool to the touch. Should not require any drivers on Windows or MacOS (using it on an M1 Mac, myself); just plug and go. Includes link lights, a personal preference of mine (allows you to see if its connected, and loosely, as data transfers). Good little adapter -- quite happy with it.

> 24 hourUse: tested this on a Nintendo Switch to confirm it does work for those devices. Also, I ran some speed tests from a laptop. This utilized the full speed of my network. Features: braided cable, metal body, connection/activity lights, plug and play, and fast speeds Quality: high quality

> 24 hourThis works well and easy to connection. I use it to connect to my iPad and Play games. Pretty fast,i have to say, its convenient to use and easy to bring it with me. It doesnt break when you use it, and the quality is better than expected. Good quality and cheap price.

> 24 hourAfter receiving the Henrety ethernet adaptor, I plugged it into the USB-C port of my MacBook Pro. I then plugged one end of an ethernet cable into the adaptor and plugged the other end into the NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch in my wifi system. I use a Netgear Orbi mesh router which is fed 1GB of internet fiber speed, which is a good test of the adaptor. The testing was performed using Ooklas Speedtest app, which was pegged to the max of the apps capability during the test. The older Orbi doesnt quite reach the 1-gig potential, but it does hover in the 900-950MBS range. The adaptor exhibited a little latency, which cost a star. Otherwise, it performed as expected.

> 24 hourNice product, plug and play to a Win11 Home Asus laptop that didn’t have an Ethernet port. Wanted a way to hard connect to my router, or as a backup if WiFi wasn’t available. Product is well made and had the added touch of a dust cover on the USB-c connector, and came with a bonus USB-c to USB-a adapter to allow connection to a laptop that didn’t have USB-c. Product performed at max speed of my ISP at 300 Mbps, so works well.

> 24 hourThere are other options out there for a network to USB-c adapter that are less costly but I have to say this seems to be a well made unit. The cable is a woven reinforced one, the USB-c end comes with a plastic plug for keeping the interior dust and debris free and the main component body is metal for heavy duty use. The adapter was immediately recognized by my laptop and as soon as I disabled the wifi it connected to my network quickly with no issues.

> 24 hourBought this to help stabilize connection when doing video calls and it does the job nicely. Simply plugged it in for installation. Before using my connection would flicker between poor and good. With the adapter my connection registers as excellent and I no longer experience freezing on my end.

> 24 hourI bought both the USB a and the USB c versions both have wonky RJ45 Jacks. If you plugin and ethernrt cable until it snaps the connector goes too far in and wont make a connection. You have to pull the connector back out a little for it to seat correctly. As such I would say these are faulty female connectors, but for such a cheap price who cares. Just pull the male end out a little bit to fix it.

> 24 hourIt is very small, plug-and-play, and works perfectly. Sometimes, it is best to rely on wired Ethernet to improve speed and reliability. For example, in heavy rain or heavy snow, the network is very unstable. It can help you work better.
