This adapter has worked well for me so far. Its plug and play and had no issues providing wifi. I didnt notice any losses and the speeds remained great when using it. There isnt much to say about it, but its definitely great to have if you have a more slim laptop but require a more stable connection. Very nice overall!

Nice product, plug and play to a Win11 Home Asus laptop that didn’t have an Ethernet port. Wanted a way to hard connect to my router, or as a backup if WiFi wasn’t available. Product is well made and had the added touch of a dust cover on the USB-c connector, and came with a bonus USB-c to USB-a adapter to allow connection to a laptop that didn’t have USB-c. Product performed at max speed of my ISP at 300 Mbps, so works well.

This connected right away with plug and play compatibility on my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro. I was able to get upload and download speeds over 800 mbps, hardwired to the router. The connectors on both ends are aluminum and the cable is covered with a nice fabric braid that seems pretty durable.

Like the majority of newer laptop/notebook computers, my HP Envy X360 (2020 model) does not contain an RJ-45 ethernet port. I picked up this HENRETY USB C to Ethernet Adapter to use when I want a fast and stable connection for file transfers or similar activities that tend to be hindered by a weak or limiting WiFi connection. This adapter was immediately recognized by my laptop running Windows 11 Pro and was ready to go within seconds File transfers from my Network Attached Storage unit were much faster over ethernet versus WiFi, with consistently fast transfer rates and no errors. I wont need to use this adapter very often but when I do need the performance improvement for fast transfers, I now have it available to me. I have other devices I could use it on but have not tested with those yet. Pricing is competitive with similar/comparable adapters and it looks like most of them are of similar design and function. After using this for a few months, I can confidently recommend it.

CONFIRMED, usb 3.0 5GHz connection, and once connect to desktop you can verify under ethernet connection, that the chip actually provides 2.5GHz ethernet connection! I dont have the actually speed internet connection to verify, but system report can confirm hardware information. And most importantly, it DOES WORK on Nintendo Switch. Its is so hard to swim in Amazon cheap Realtek ethernet chips that works otherwise, but when advertised as working for Nintendo Switch, the Realtek chip is just not functional. But this Henrety adapter does indeed works on the switch. The ethernet speed is limited by switch hardware so it wont perform a well as on desktop. But the adapter works as advertised, that alone worth all the praise it can get.

This is for a computer with a USB-A port (typically, a rectangular port with a blue plastic part in the connector). Use this only in USB 3.0 ports as I dont expect it will work properly in USB 2.0 (although it will fit - I didnt test in USB 2.0). This works perfectly in Windows computers, no drivers needed. Plug and play. Full speed Ethernet.

This is the best Type C to Ethernet adapter I own. It is gigabit, small, plug and play and works perfectly. Absolutely no cons and very satisfied with the purchase.

I have an old laptop that Ive been using and noticed that my download speeds werent that impressive. It was connect straight to ethernet so it should have been fast but speedtest.net was giving it about 80 to 90 mbit/s. After digging around in settings for a while I discovered that the ethernet port was a 100 mbit port. Thats the problem. Well this little guy fixed it. It was super easy to install. I pulled it out of the packaging and plugged it in. Immediately it started working and my download speeds jumped up to 270 mbit/s. Nice! Ive been using it for a few days and Im really happy with it.
