The clarity of the videos are excellent. So far the battery is doing well.

They are white plastic, guess I just assumed they’d be metal. I painted mine black because my ring stick ups are black. They are really easy to install and gives a nice range of motion

These are small mounts, but quite sturdy. Should be less visible than other possible mounts for security.

Almost all of this assembly is wimpy plastic. The retainer ring (which threads onto the base and holds the pivoting ball joint attached to your camera) is under-engineered. Its too thin of plastic and/or too weak of material. It is the key connector between the bracket and the camera. It needs to be tight enough to hold the camera steady at the right point and hold the weight of the camera. And it needs to be strong enough for all this. This retainer ring failed after one day. On the second day I saw that the retainer ring had cracked 75% of the way from front to back. Fortunately I bought a package of two brackets and so I beefed-up the second one by enclosing it within a plastic shell packed with white epoxy. This failure turned a One ladder climb project into a Three ladder climb project. I cannot recommend this product.

These were obviously made with the lowest standard being acceptable to the manufacturer. The base has plastic threads which stripped out immediately with just finger tightening. The only metal parts are very poorly made and don’t adjust as easily as they should. My reasonings for the ratings: Overall 2 stars: they were cheap, so I can’t complain too loudly. Easy to install 4 stars: it’s 3 screws, so not hard to attach. The only reason for less than 5 stars is for the metal parts sticking, making it more difficult than it should be to align. Sturdiness 1 star: VERY cheaply made (what does one expect for $10). One stripped out with only finger tightening. I have no doubt they will break in the near future with battery changes. Value for money 3 stars: as mentioned, they were $10, so I can’t complain too badly. I still don’t think they were worth it in the long run. Overall, I am not satisfied with the purchase. Very poorly made with the lowest standards. But, as I said, they were $10, so it is what it is. I need them up now, so I can’t return them. I will buy different ones for permanent installation.
