Its my fault. I should have known by the price that this was not cameras. But the product description is ambiguous at best. It should be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that these are only mounts. It is not. It actually avoids the clarity as much as possible.

This bracket broke overnight and lasted only 6 months!!!!!

They are white plastic, guess I just assumed they’d be metal. I painted mine black because my ring stick ups are black. They are really easy to install and gives a nice range of motion

Saw many negative reviews on this product but took a chance anyways. Just installed my camera with these mount and installed the camera in 10 minutes. The mount gave me perfect angles of what i needed eyes on. A++

Almost all of this assembly is wimpy plastic. The retainer ring (which threads onto the base and holds the pivoting ball joint attached to your camera) is under-engineered. Its too thin of plastic and/or too weak of material. It is the key connector between the bracket and the camera. It needs to be tight enough to hold the camera steady at the right point and hold the weight of the camera. And it needs to be strong enough for all this. This retainer ring failed after one day. On the second day I saw that the retainer ring had cracked 75% of the way from front to back. Fortunately I bought a package of two brackets and so I beefed-up the second one by enclosing it within a plastic shell packed with white epoxy. This failure turned a One ladder climb project into a Three ladder climb project. I cannot recommend this product.

If you have AC available, use a wired cam or buy extra batteries and charger.

Well made, swivel design works well if lubricated but as with any plastic screw secured mount, care needs to be taken when tightening down.

Put one on the front and back door - worked exceptionally well. Dowloading the app is easy, connecting to wi-fi is straightforward, pics and voice communication is very good. For this money, flexible mounting brackets should be included as I had to order them separately for another $20. I would recommend.
