Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

Finally, a bar stool that is made solid. This was our third try at finding a bar stool for our high kitchen bar counter for the right height and quality of product. Saw this, decided to try, but only ordered one. Arrived in great shape, earlier than estimated, took hubby about 10 minutes to take out of box and put seat on. The rest of the stool is welded together. Amazing. Great design, very pleased with the craftsmanship and it is high enough for the bar counter and easy for this 52 frame to take a seat. Did not disappoint at all. In fact, we ordered two more. Yay!

The bar stools was very easy to put together, very sturdy and comfortable. The are very nice and look very nice in my home. What I dont like is they are too tall. Theyre 32 inch and I need a 26 or 28 inch.

Ive been shopping for a true 30 - 32 inch bar stool that is sturdy and stylish. These are by far the best Ive found and Ive spent a month comparison shopping. They match not only the wood in my kitchen, but the old steel finish is gorgeous! Several reviewers cite difficulty removing plastic from the seat. EASY FIX: Just slightly loosen screws attaching seat, remove plastic, and re-tighten. Problem solved. Wonderful product, shipping, assembly a snap!

We had an extra high kitchen counter in our new house and needed a higher than average stool. We searched for weeks and liked the Hillsdale Montello swivel stool. After getting the shipment....we were very happy with the sturdiness and quality of the stool. Of course nothing is always perfect, and one stool was delivered damaged, but Hillsdale was totally accommadating with exchange and replacement and very professional. There is nothing to dislike about these awesome chairs, Love the color and seat cushion which is very comfortable as you rest your feet easily on the sturdy metal frame. Definitely a must buy quality item.

The Hillsdale Montello Bar Stools are beautiful and very sturdy. When sitting on the seat it revolves very easy-it is stiff to turn the seat if there is no weight on it. This part I like as no one can spin the seat. I have 6 in my new home and everyone have given a positive comment on the comfort and style of the stools. They are worth the money. Only part I didnt like was I could only order 3 at a time then had to have someone else order me the other 3. That was not a acceptable way to order and why would it be that way?

My husband and I are thrilled with these bar stools. I have not seen anything else come close in quality for this price, and I spent a lot of time looking! One thing to mention: The Old Steel Finish actually was a little more bronze in color than the pictures. For us, that was a big plus; hopefully that will be helpful to someone else considering these stools. One other item to be aware of: The seat is truly 32 off the floor.....many bar stools are 30, so if you are vertically challenged, that may be an issue. Once again, we are very happy with both the appearance, and the sturdy feel of these stools.
