Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

I ordered this stool knowing it was going to be too tall for my counter area. But I was hoping to cut the legs off and be able to use it. But alas it was too well made and the scuff things were actually welded on!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the chair but it was just too tall for my use and I had to return it. I like it MUCH better than the ones I had to settle for.......it is a gorgeous finish, beautiful seat, easy to assemble and wonderful construction. GREAT buy and absolutely beautiful.

We looked for barstools for several months before deciding on these. The quality is excellent, well constructed and nice materials. It only requires 4 screws to assemble each stool, and the rest is held together with strong welds and excellent manufacturer assembly. We are very pleased with these and they appear to be well worth the money so far.

these counter stools are very nice and go well with my dark dining set. They are a little pricey but I feel they are worth it.

Love the stools, but I was disappointed when I realized the top of the stool is made of some type of plastic, it looked like wood from the pictures and no other reviews mention this. I still really love the look of the stool and they are made well. We use them at are basement bar.

Ordered 3 of these chairs and... #1: great. #2: only 3 screws will go in of the 4 #3 is missing the hardware completely

The bar stools was very easy to put together, very sturdy and comfortable. The are very nice and look very nice in my home. What I dont like is they are too tall. Theyre 32 inch and I need a 26 or 28 inch.

The Hillsdale Montello Bar Stools are beautiful and very sturdy. When sitting on the seat it revolves very easy-it is stiff to turn the seat if there is no weight on it. This part I like as no one can spin the seat. I have 6 in my new home and everyone have given a positive comment on the comfort and style of the stools. They are worth the money. Only part I didnt like was I could only order 3 at a time then had to have someone else order me the other 3. That was not a acceptable way to order and why would it be that way?

I bought six of these bar height swivel stools. They are perfect. They are light, easy to assemble, and look great. I have a custom-made steampunk bar height dining room table that I have been struggling to buy chairs for and these work perfectly. The price was right, it didnt take long to receive them, and the delivery was easy. The only complaint I have is how they were packaged. As you can imagine they fit better in the box with the seat turned upside down with the backrest against the legs, and that is exactly how they were shipped. As I pulled the first one out of the box I couldnt figure out why the legs were coming along with the seat until I saw that it was (unnecessarily) zip tied with a single zip tie to the legs. I had to cut the zip tie to get the seat out. All but one of the stools had one or more zip ties attaching the seat to the legs.

Beautiful chairs! Very study and easy to put together. To make it even easier, flip the chair seat on top of a table or bar, the put the base on top. Makes it much easier to line up the screw holes and insert the bolts.
