Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

The chair arrived quickly, just 2 days after ordering. The setup was very easy, only taking me 10 minutes. All you have to do is insert four screws using the provided allen wrench. The only bad thing was the styrofoam in the box broke up very easily into hundreds of pieces which stuck to the chair, the seat and on my clothes. Overall I am very pleased with this chair and its styling and sturdiness.

Great looking chairs. The 32 inch height is just perfect for my 42 inch breakfast kitchen bar. Have 5 chairs and the kids love to have all their meals sitting in them. Sturdy back and good supported base.

Easy to assemble...took less than 15 minutes. Comfortable & sturdy.

The stools were easy to assemble. They are very sturdy and comfortable at out 36 in island. The metal / wood/ leather coordinates beautifully with our kitchen cabinets & decor. The only negative is so far the stools are a little stiff with swiveling but I expect this to improve with time.

These chairs are beautiful! I purchased them for my breakfast bar and was thrilled when they arrived - they arrived the very next day! - high quality, elegant - look beautiful in my kitchen. I have never seen any that look better, and they are sooo comfortable to sit on. I am updating this review over a year later - and these chairs are still in perfect condition! They are lovely. I have always been soooo happy that I bought them.

Four out of five because it was NOT as advertised and in the picture given, it was impossible to tell. The shipping, packaging and assembly were all fine as was the price. We got this stool to match our singleton which was the same size (28) and make as this advertised one. My research found plenty of examples at TWICE the price before looking at Amazon. In fact, the one we had already was bought from a consignment store for less than $100! My gripe was that nowhere on the description of this stool did it say leather back. The original stool has a distressed wooden back, not leather! Also the color if the faux leather seat is a little off and doesnt match the other stool. Ill try and provide side-by-side photos which will reveal these points. However, it is sturdy and will work for us. One final comment: the plastic wrapping around the seat was difficult to remove as others have noted. Other than that, a happy Amazon customer.

Very good looking chair. Good quality so far with the exception of the stain on the top part which scuffs very easily.

I had purchased three of these stools several years ago. In a recent move, we have a larger bar area and needed two more stools. Could not remember where the original three had been purchased so I went on line and found them here. Great price, quick delivery and everything was as I had hoped.

Been shopping for barstools for way too long. We have a counter that is 45 tall. All the adjustable barstools we found seemed very cheep. The ones that were 30 were too short to be comfortable eating. This barstool is perfect. Great price, nice and sturdy. And the mix of materials worked great in our room. Doesnt look cheap at all. The swivel is a little tough, but I suppose its better than being loose. And the seat pad is a touch on the stiff side but Im sure it will soften over time. So glad our barstool search is over!

We searched endlessly on line and in stores, and finally found these stools that fit our peninsula which is much higher than counter tops. These stools are well made, sturdy, and very attractive. They are also very comfortable. The swivel seats and the high backs are a plus hard to find in a stool of this height if you can find one at all! Highly recommend.
