The Unreal Ms. Book
> 3 dayReview of Howard Products BBB012 Cutting Board Oil, 12 oz I like the John Boos Mystery Oil and Cream better. It seems like the Howard Products oil soaks in and evaporates. The Boos oil & cream (use the oil first and then the cream) - those products last for months before I need to re-do them. All my countertops and island have butcher block.

> 3 dayI have a cutting board that came with the sink and is fitted to the sink and also holds a strainer/calendar. Not easy to replace , through neglect and improper care it had dried out and the pieces came unglued. I had used olive oil and vegetable oils which didn’t nourish the wood only gummed it up. After cleaning everything up and gluing back together I started using the Howard Cutting Board Oil and the different is night and day. The Howard product is soaking in very nicely and nourishing the board so it does not dry out. Not shrinking or cracking now. So glad I picked this oil. PS it’s a very oily not too thick but not too thin either , absorbed by wood readily.

> 3 dayJust a little goes a long way. Use this on my bamboo cutting board. Pour a little on, and rub all over the board with my fingers. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe down with a cloth. Simple and it has kept my board looking great. This bottle has lasted me a good long while and when I eventually run out Ill be sure to buy again

> 3 dayA cutting board can dry out and also harbor bacteria. Cleaning a cutting board and then applying cutting board oil can prolong the life of your board. It also improves the looks of the board. This product meets all the requirements needed to make your cutting board look, feel and perform at its best. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI recently took it upon myself to refinish my familys ancient 60s cutting boards... you know, the ones that slide out from the counters and are an original part of our horribly outdated pink-tiled kitchen. I have 3 of these cutting boards in total, probably roughly 18x24, and a 1 thick. I sanded them down (a feat in and of itself) and finished up the wood with this product. My cutting board looks gorgeous and brand new! I love them so much now that I will probably keep them for heavy duty cutting after the kitchen gets remodeled. Ive only been able to do one cutting board so far due to my time constraints, but I still have plenty of this oil left to do the other two. Ive included a picture of the one I refinished vs. one that hasnt been refinished yet just to give an idea of the transformation. Great product, beautiful cutting boards!
