HP 24-inch All-in-One Desktop Computer, AMD Athlon Silver 3050U Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home (24-dd0010, White)

I didnt need anything fancy - smancy for what I use this computer for. No gaming, big time storage, extensive business use, yadda, yadda, yadda so this machine is working out fine for me to date. Ive had it for a couple of weeks now and had someone who was computer wise suck all of the information stored on my old machine into the new unit. I would have been lost trying to tackle that myself.

Everything has been great with this computer so far , except the fan makes a constant sound like it is slowing down, speeding up, etc. it will s not affecting performance so I just deal with it. The computer is easy to use for a home computer.

Im not computer savvy so I was apprehensive about purchasing one online. After consulting my tech savvy daughter I took the chance and bought it. I love it! It was easy, easy to put together, turn on and get rolling. If I was able to do it ANYBODY can...believe me! I cant tell you anything technical about it other than its beautiful and a good replacement for the 10-year HP model I had. Great upgrade!!!

This HP All in-one model is an awesome value at a surprisingly low price point if two things are acceptable: no touchscreen and the 8 GB main memory is shared with Graphics (so only 6 GB effective for programs). For my desk/office use, I only use mouse/keyboard so no issue for me. Boot-up/setup was easy and flawless, the performance boost from the 256 GB SSD drive is huge (if you are used to a hard disk drive), graphics are clear, and including a writable DVD drive is a nice plus. You pop up the webcam when needed, although the HP webcam quality is not the best. This system is TOTALLY quiet. Great choice.

It is not a touch screen but a very good computer.

Does not work

I was shopping for a simple and reliable desktop for my parents. I came across this HP all in one desktop for a reasonable price. The packaging and overall setup was simple and quick. No complaints. With that said, we are buying this to replace another all in one HP desktop that I bought 5 years ago because the USB ports were malfunctioning. I dont expect HP products to last beyond 4-5 years but you get a stylish, affordable, and reputable product.

After 1 year since purchasing this HP computer I can say with great accuracy that this purchase was the best I have ever made. As a computer professional most of my life, I smile with a 24 inch screen to read those multi-column spreadsheets. Solid state memory is the only memory I will purchase, makes the startup time in seconds, not minutes. The price i am sure is different now. Having a computer with everything build in eliminated the tower I used to have on the floor getting dirty, dusty and hard to manage. Only the Monitor, keyboard and mouse on desktop keeps my work area very clean and comfortable to use. I did not order the touch screen model, next time. Jack

desktop is having issues since my wife started using it.

I cant believe how the price has come down.
