I had an Epson printer before this that printed better quality photos, but it ate through ink like crazy and the print quality worsened dramatically over time. I have owned this machine for about a year. I dont think it would print high enough quality photos from it that you would frame them and hang them, but how often do you really do that? Our family, not too often. What this printer does do however is, so far, print pretty reliably regular household printing. It has a number of pretty good features: Its quiet; you can print from your iPhone and iPad (nice); its simple as pie to set up on your home wifi; as an HP, pretty sure everything out there has a driver for it; and, its easy enough to scan. Over all, its a very solid printer. Further, I have the brown color and its pretty good looking. Why is it all of our electronics gray and black anyhow? The brown looks pretty good in the home office. I also dont think the ink bill is too bad, an opinion I have not always had of HP. Just buy the XL size and the genuine ink. I bought the refurbished ones to try to save money, the printer recognized it, complained on refused to print with them- seriously! Anyhow, that was a waste, but I like the machine enough to forgive it. (HP Envy 100 e All-in-One Printer)

The prnter is very good once you set it up. It took me to align with IP Address with desk top and lap top. May be I did not do the set up properly. There is one problem the manufacturer does not give instructions on how to install the printer. You are on your own

I like this HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One Printer. Strange the heading as I write this says Brown, because its black. It has a nice, compact footprint for an all-in-one, that I find very attractive. I use a Mac, and havent had any problems on that front. The printing looks great, the scanning works great. At first, you wonder where the controls are to edit the scanning parameters, but it turns out there is a little application in the folder that gives you that. I had to call HP to ask though. I didnt see it in the documentation, though I could be wrong. There are a lot of parameters in general, that you can access using the printers touch screen. Honestly, I havent even experimented much with it, but I saw them. Im very satisfied with this purchase and Ive had it for a few months now. Adding on... I have had this printer for quite a while now. I am removing a couple of stars. One is for the crappy software interface on the Mac, and one is because HP does NOT like people using remanufactured ink cartridges and badger you with warnings, and by telling you it is empty when it is not, and sometimes by not working until you unplug and plug back in the printer. This has me pretty pissed off, if you havent guessed. So if you like using their exorbitantly priced ink, then you can add the two stars back on. It prints and scans just fine.

If you want to use this printer with Windows 8 try this: Go to HPs website, find the Customer Support page, type in the model, in my case the Envy 110e D411a. Then click on the driver tab, which will take you to Drivers and Downloads page. You will have two choices FULL SUITE or BASIC driver which provides support for windows 8. I tried to use HPs CD (Version 24,2.0) software but the set up application wound not work. Got an error regarding the operating system, and needing to upgrade?. I chose the BASIC driver option. Downloaded to my Envy dv6 notebook and it worked like a charm. I bypassed configuring for a wireless connection, I was anxious to find out if the machine simply worked, and used the USB option. I made a test copy print of a screenshot that was saved in File Explorer Libraries. Worked! The printout looked fine. I am no techie and that was the first print I have ever done. Never had a printer before this Envy 110e which I got used from a neighbor who is always buying newer stuff. She had it for less tan a year. I asked her why she bought another printer, also HP, and she said something about the way this printer uses ink cartridges. I guess she wanted and got something wherein the ink costs less or is easier to replace. Other than wanting another printer that loaded ink differently, she said she had no issues with the printer. I know this is vague but I really didnt quite understand her reason. I am leaving five stars for HPs driver support and the ease of set up for this machine. I have had less than 24 hours of experience with the printer. I will update if I run into some serious issues. I intend to use this printer for an occasional copy of troubleshooting steps for my notebook or, ahem, printer. Sorry to the folks who have had problems with their printer. On an additional note: You can also find HPs PRINT and SCAN DOCTOR tool on the Drivers and Downloads page for the Envy 110e for which an icon will appear in your Start Menu if you are using Win 8.

    Greater than one week

When we first got this printer, I loved it- it is sleek and shiny, and I loved that it fits right in with our other stereo components. I like the convenience of having our printer in the living room, since I do so much of my computer work on the couch right there, and it is nice to be able to print things from my iPhone as well. Over the past couple weeks my husband and I have had to use the printer for more than just printing a coupon here or a short document there, and we have been fighting with this printer CONSTANTLY. Here are the issues: -it jams CONSTANTLY -it is rather difficult to unjam, because it does not come apart very easily -It chews up the bottom of the pages of paper even when it isnt jamming -it spits the papers out onto the floor, not onto the completed document arm as it is supposed to -it runs rather slow -it doesnt like to operate on any setting other than default. Not even fast draft, black and white -it will jam on every single document set to print double-sided -it randomly stops in the middle of printing to allow ink to dry. Printers have been around for decades and havent needed to do that, so why now? -it occasionally starts printing half-way down the page, so it cuts off the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the page of text. Ive had printers in the past that will act up a bit when there starts to be too little paper in the paper tray. Im wondering if the small paper tray (80 sheets max) is why this printer is ALWAYS having issues. I seriously cant even print a 6 page double sided document (3 double sided pages) without it jamming. The concept and the look of this product are great, but quite honestly, the quality and reliability of this printer is horrible!!! If youre looking for a printer that will print just the occasional coupon before you head out the door, this will probably do the job. But if you need a real printer that actually works every time of every day on every document it is supposed to work on, look elsewhere!

It is efficient and quiet. It works well and does everything I need it for. Good product for the money.

I LOVE this printer. My goal was to be completely wireless and this sleek ultra stylish printer fulfills that goal AND is also very functional. It is GREAT to print from my phone, computer and iPad from anywhere in my home! I also love the ability I now have to email print jobs from anywhere in the world to my printer. I wouldve given it five stars except the paper tray only holds about 50 slices at a time. If you want a sleek, stylish, functional quality printer that takes up as little room as a DVD player then this printer is probably for you.

I have owned this for several years now. Never a problem printing, copying or scanning. Looks like a fine piece of equipment on my desk. It does so much more than print, copy and scan, but I have no use for the other functions. You can fax from it, and it communicates with iPhone and iPad well. To be honest, I really dont avail myself of all its features. If you are like me, you might want to forgo the bells and whistles. Also, even on the most efficient settings, it uses a lot of ink. The ink is not refillable so be prepared to buy new ones each time. It also doesnt do well unless you are buying the genuine HP ink.

My daughter had ordered an Envy about a year ago on a special and got a great deal. She suggested I go for the Brown which was a newer model, but it was pretty pricey. So, I found one that was rebuilt and took a chance and it has been working just fine. I didnt have too much hassle setting it up and once I got it going I loved it immediately. The display is amazingly easy to see and in color. It is back lit so light is never an issue when reading the menu like my old one. I like the compactness of it when it is not in use- everything folds back automatically when the printed sheets are removed and the paper is in a tray that slides into the printer and is never visible. I like its sleek design and copper Brown trim. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone.
