> 3 dayIt was a bit hard to set up. Downloaded the app and it had a hard time connecting to the device. Once connected, it wasnt able to connect to network. I wondered if that was the reason why I had so much trouble connecting via the App. After some research, found out that this item is not compatible with Google Fi. I thought it did. Seems like a nice item, just wished it was compatible. I like that it is small and compact. Great size for traveling.

> 3 dayAfter renting a unit like this for a trip through Europe, I decided to buy my own for an upcoming trip to Egypt, since at ~$85, the device would practically pay for itself versus the costs of a rental after one trip. I bought a SIM card from the Orange kiosk in the baggage claim area in Cairo airport. The device worked well overall. It was able to handle 4 phones being connected, and I got mostly consistent 4G LTE in populated areas, with occasional dropouts. I cant tell if that was due to the network or the device, though. (Far better than what I got when I had to switch to Verizons service for a day for reasons unrelated to the device.) The battery life isnt great, so after about 4-6 hours, Id have to charge it. I just kept it connected to a power bank in my backpack. Occasionally Id have to reboot the device when I had trouble connecting, but I didnt really think that was a big deal since it only happened about every other day. The app had some minor issues connecting sometimes, but the web interface always worked. So -1 star for meh battery life and occasional minor hiccups, but overall, I think this is a good hotspot for international travel.

> 3 dayI got off the airplane in Port Au Prince and bought a Dig card and used the card in a tablet /phone and loved it . Than I tried it in the hotspot and was worried about having to do the apn settings and all and it was effortless. It did it all by itself. My tablet and all my phones worked way faster and even started getting 4g !!! It is exceptional. We have a young lady using it daily now and she loves it . Thanks for great quality.

> 3 dayI bought this Huawei E5577-321 mobile hotspot for a trip to France. In France, I bought a sim from a Bouygues Telecom shop called “My European SIM” that was targeted to tourists which cost €39.90. This sim included 20GB and unlimited local calls/SMS in Europe for 30 days. I just had to insert the SIM and after a few minutes, the hotspot registered on the mobile network. I was able to connect to the hotspot with the SSID and WIFI key that is on the back of the device and also in the menu located under “Device Info” and was automatically connected to the internet. The APN was automatically setup and I didn’t have to enter anything into the device. I did setup my own SSID just for fun and it wasn’t too difficult if you’ve ever setup a Wi-Fi router at home. The connection was great. There were a few areas in Paris with low signal or slow internet speed but that’s to be expected just like any mobile network.

> 3 dayI bought this to be used while I was in Haiti. I activated an internet plan with two different companies to see if it would work. I used Digicel and also NATCOM. This device only tethered 2G bandwidth even though the internet plan I used would go between 4g and 3g. I’m very disappointed and annoyed that my money went to waste.
