> 3 dayThese are important safety devices for hunters using elevated stands and platforms. The tether on the hunters safety harness or vest is connected to the heavy-duty caribiner. After the Lifeline system is installed it provides a secure method of climbing from the ground to the platform. The prussic knot slides as you push it up when climbing, or down when descending, but holds securely on the rope whenever pressure is applied. Fast shipping from Sportsman Supply.

Greater than one weekThankfully have not tested how well it works in a fall... but the rope is sturdy as well as the knot. I am terrified of heights and this makes me feel a little better. every time I go up I try to go up a little higher each time. At first with the strap I was using I was concerned about what to do if the stand fell and now Im hanging from a tree... now I use this so that if the stand falls I can now use this rope to repel down the tree. Again, I hope that I never have to test this but its not worth the risk to not use this or something similar.

> 3 dayYour an idiot if you hunt from a tree stand with out a safety line. These are top of the class! The added benefit of the reflective material woven in is just amazing. You will see it 200 yards out! Dont become a paraplegic! Just buy them now.

Greater than one weekFeel safer in a tree stand. Good quality. To move up and down you must hold on to climbing station pegs with one hand. However, if the rope is semi tight and secure on both end this is no problem unless you only have one hand..
