I purchased this product because it was on a list of recommended aftercare products provided by my artist. I liked that it has mostly natural ingredients, so I paid the premium price. Understand that this product is basically 100% oil. I realized that when I bought it, but I didnt realize how greasy it would be. My arm is itchy and now has a bunch of zits from the oil clogging my pores. Its solid at room temperature, making it hard to spread thinly on new tattoos without pain or damaging the skin. My tattoo did seem to heal fine using it, but I had to switch to a more traditional unscented lotion after about 5 days. This may be a good product if you have naturally dry skin and you want to use it after your tattoo has healed.

Got this and the soap. Love the smell. Great amount for the price and I use it on all my tats now

Was suggested this by my tattoo artist. Bought it immediately and have been using it on my fresh & new tattoo the last few days. It’s done an excellent job at soothing and a good layer of moisture stays on top of the tattoo for several hours. Not to mention the product smells absolutely amazing as well

Just got a new tattoo and was looking into something better to use than the traditional A&D or Aquaphor! This turned my ashy tattoos from the winter back to vibrant colors! Has helped heal my new tattoo fast! I don’t really feel the itch that drives you nuts with a new tattoo while it’s healing which is a great bonus! I also used a little on my dry hands, after one use the my dry hands were so much better as well! Overall i absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it! The picture I’m sharing is a before (left side) and after(right side) of one of my ashy tattoos from the horrible winter weather and this helped it so much in just one use!

The texture of this lasts on your skin even under a shirt. It is pretty greasy witch makes is a solid product. It is not a cream. I would buy again.

I recently got my first tattoo. It’s a small one on my back, and I wanted to take good care of it right away. After getting it done, I had Saniderm over my tattoo for a few days. When I removed it, I used Aquaphor for a few days (just twice daily because it was so thick). Then I alternated between Lubriderm and Aquaphor for the next couple of days. Aquaphor seemed too thick for long term use, but Lubriderm seemed a little thin and I wasn’t able to keep applying it throughout the day due to work. I did a little research and came across Hustle Butter. The smell is really nice (after 2 weeks I figured it was safe to have a little bit of scent) and the thickness is perfect. It’s slightly grainy/granular at first, but it smooths out once you warm it on your fingertips. My tattoo has been healing perfectly. No discharge, peeling, itchiness, scabbing, or any adverse effects after almost a month. I definitely recommend this product!

Im obsessed with hustle butter. Ive been using it for years and it does an amazing job keeping tattoos moisturized and not itchy. I trust this stuff. Sure, unscented lotion works! But this lasts longer and feels far more hydrating- plus it smells amazing. If youre contemplating this purchase, dont. Just do it. Totally worth the price, you wont regret it. Buy this!!!
