I think these 40mm Presta valves are the perfect length for my MTB. Ive tried other valves that were 46mm and they were longer than necessary. I like that these valves are made of brass and not aluminum because of the added durability of the threads. I use a rubber grommet instead of the o-ring because I feel that when its compressed down it gives a more complete seal. I really like the shape of the locking nut on these valves because it holds the grommet in place nicely. I also like the silver color on these valves instead of the brass colored valves because they match my bike components better. I dont use the plastic valve core remover that comes with these because I have valve caps with the valve core remover made into them.

Ive gone through a lot of valve stems in my time using tubeless tires. These are by far the best-built Ive seen - a bit more substantial than other brands Ive used. They also have removable cores, which is huge for those of us adding sealant without wanting to pop the tire bead off. Im going to see if they have a 60mm length version for use with more aero-style rims.

They installation was simple. The rubber ring was a nice addition to keep the seal air tight. Good to know you can get good quality tubeless components without spending a small fortune.

I love the stems they are just what you need to go tubeless on your bike.

Each valve stem came with a small rubber o-ring, but there was an extra larger o-ring, and didnt know what it was for. I had problems with air leaking from the valve stem. I know not to over tighten the stem when installing, and made sure it was properly seeded.
