good tool

PROS: 1. Good quality 2. Works great 3. Easier to pull out of tight receptacles than some of the other testers CONS: 1. The text on the reference label is too small in my opinion, making it difficult to read without the reading glasses. Other testers of the same size have managed to make the text more legible. I have owned about 6 of these types of testers, of various brands. Thus far, I would say this is the best one I have owned. Of course, it cost the most too.

Huge problem with the design of this analyzer is that the indicator label to indicate open ground, hot/neutral reversed, etc. is Only on one side of tester. So if/when the grounding prong is on top you can Not read the indicator label.

breaks easily

This is my second one, due to carelessness on a construstion site. Best receptacle tester ive used.

Good device to have around apart from testing GFIs it will also tell you if the outlet has been wired incorrectly.

Super easy to use, must have as a homeowner

The product is not good for testing tamper resistant receptacles which are required in Michigan. I emailed the manufacture and they never replied.
