Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on Camera (Not Compatible with DXR-8), White

Love it! Clear images, clear sound! We have 3 cameras and one monitor - all easy to link and switch from camera to camera.

We got a Eufy camera before we purchased this one. The Eufy camera only worked for good picture if the camera was basically right next to the baby. When we moved our baby into his own room, we could never tell how he was laying. We couldnt even tell if the blur was his ear or not. Thats when we invested in the Infant Optics. Its wonderful. We ended up getting a second camera to go along with it to get two different angles. The zoom feature is great, especially with the zoom lens, you can actually zoom in well and still get clear definition. The battery lasts all day long, and I can easily see him in the night vision, maybe even better than regular vision. The picture quality is good I can tell how his head is laying and I can see whether he is breathing or not.

Pros-great picture (unless you zoom in, then it becomes grainy), reads temp in room accurately, good sound output when talking through camera. Overall happy with purchase. Cons-doesn’t come with wide angle lens (trust me, you need it-it provides a WAY better view and you don’t have to position the camera perfectly to see your baby) - you can buy it separately but shouldn’t have to. Can pair multiple cameras with one monitor (the monitors battery life isn’t stellar but I don’t need it to be right now) but cannot pair a camera to multiple monitors and it’d be nice to have one up and downstairs since my hands are usually full of tiny humans and their belongings when I come downstairs or I simply forget it.

The system is good, but I do not like that I can’t see both cameras at once. Wish I had researched that a little more before purchasing. I have a newborn in 1 room and a 2.5 year old in another room. I hate that I can only hear if 1 wakes up in the middle of the night. Switching views is easy yes but but I’m doing that in the middle of the night. I was hoping to have a dual screen monitor.

Quality is great and you can move the camera to see the WHOLE room, no dead spots for toddlers to hide in! Worth the money!

We had a problem with our camera and how it randomly disconnected from the monitor. But the customer service is AMAZING. They sent us a new monitor and camera in 2 days after troubleshooting did not work. We have no problems with the new product

We’ve had this monitor for 2 years and it’s great, just added this additional camera for baby #2. The camera was quick and easy to set up and pair to the monitor. Works perfectly. I’m able to toggle back and forth between the baby rooms or put it in scan mode and it will automatically rotate viewing each room.

Ive gone through so many monitors and none of the quality like thus one. Love it...already purchased another camera to connect to our system

Great product for your little ones! We have two and these work great and are safe from any hackers through wifi. Awesome product!
