Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on Camera (Not Compatible with DXR-8), White

We had one camera set up for our first child. When we moved her to another room we still wanted to be able to keep an eye on her as she transitioned to a toddler bed. The only thing that would make having two cameras perfect is if it could spit screen. However, going between the two rooms is very easy with just one of the main buttons. I can even have it set up to switch between the two rooms on it’s own. I also love how depending on what room it is viewing, the talk feature will only talk to that room without disrupting the other. I feel like the temperature reading is off on the add-on camera, but that is pretty minor to what it can do without having to buy multiple monitors.

Unfortunately this add on camera does not have the same image quality as the camera that came with the monitor. The one I have has a grainy picture with louder ambient noise on the monitor than the original camera. It would be nice if the add on camera was the same quality as the initial camera.

Great addition. Easy to install, great customer service, and very consistent performance. We have had a few different monitors, but this is by far our favorite and the last one that we will own. Everything is very user friendly. Big fans of this product!

With my first child, we used the regular model. This time around with my second, we switched to the pro. The quality is so much better, I was amazed. The picture is much more clear, the screen is nice and wide, and it was very easy to pair both cameras. Absolutely would recommend.

I love the fact these cameras are non wifi. Night vision is great. Picture quality is great. These need to be plugged in and can mount to the walls. I have about 5 of them and the only problem I have is one of the gears for the title broke after a small fall. The pan still works awesome. I am also amazed at the reception these got with the monitor.

Great camera! Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is beside the microphone setting to be able to talk to your child barely works. However, I don’t really use that feature anyways. Is a great camera, with great zoom and picture quality.

This was purchased as a gift. Know idea how it works.

Love my Optics DXR-8 PRO monitor. Bought it for my 3rd baby when my old one just wasn’t holding up. Liked it enough to add a second camera for the toddler. Picture quality is fantastic, it was easy to add the second camera. The scan between the 2 cameras allows me to monitor both rooms equally or set it for just one of I prefer. It does not respond to whichever room makes noise.

But the ad on camera after we had her second child as our oldest is still young enough, that he requires monitoring. It was super easy to connect to our previous monitor easy to toggle back-and-forth between the two cameras. I leave the monitor plugged in most of the time, but otherwise battery life is most of the day

Already having trouble getting this monitor to charge. After only 3 weeks I have to wiggle the charger around to get it to start charging. Super frustrating.
