Works fine unless it gets too cold from sitting in a vehicle then the readings are way off until it warms up.

I think the multiple laser points are a good idea, it helps me to get a rough idea of the distance. I thought the battery compartment cover on the bottom that slides worked well vs previous reviews. (maybe they had a different model?). I will run some tests on my 3D printer build plate to check temperatures next.
