These Insaga post base brackets are an incredible value! If you stop by your local big box store, you’ll find similar products where just one cost almost as much as this package of four. The quality is top notch... heavy duty... quality welds... nice black powder coat finish. Instead of the supplied screws, I used 2-1/2” Timberlok fasteners to attach the posts to the bases. The included screws would have probably done an acceptable job, but I am a “heavy-duty” type of guy. I doubt you can find post base brackets any better than these.

These are stunning and very strong. These will provide a very sturdy base for your wooden post for a wood fence, deck or pergola while providing a stunning look of elegance. Very well made product.

Insaga 4x4 Post Base, Inner Size 3.6 x 3.6 are well made posts that have very good detail and look great. These add a bit of elegance to a deck or pergola. I measured inners of all 4 and all were within a fraction of each other. I test fitted some 4x4 lumber and most fit fairly easy. Some may require a little persuasion but see no issues.

I wanted some cover above my grill area so I’m building a solid, slanted roof structure like a pergola bit with a waterproof roof. These are perfect for the 4 posts. They are heavy duty and perfect for 4x4 posts. For my project, they will work great. Solid buy.

These are hefty. They seem like they will stand up well to the test of time.

I had to replace the newell post on my outdoor deck that leads to the stairs rail. The Insaga 4x4 post base was a stylish way to attach the new post to the deck while also protecting the base from wear. Sometimes we tie a leash around the base of the post for the dog to be outside. However, when she runs around, it eats away at the base of the wood post. The post base provides a protective cover for the post base. It was easy to install, seems to be durable and looks great!

I was happy to come across these for a backyard project. They have a good heft and feel like they will be durable and weather, the weather.

These post bases are very cleanly made (no over-welding) the base itself is thicker than the sides and should hold up very well with proper installation. Well be using ours to set up a patio sail or two with some antique string lights thrown in for ambiance. While screws were provided, I will likely be opting for some slightly larger ones with a bit deeper bite (as I tend prefer a little overkill when it comes to projects like this... go big or go home... right?). These bases will give the project a nice, finished look

These are heavy duty. More so than expected. Finish seems like it’ll last. Very nice finish overall.
