0 gauge (1/0) has an OD of 8.25 according to AWG. I measured 10.2 mm with a little caliper squish on the exposed copper between the outside jacket and a round terminal I slid the wire into.. So that I could verify the diameter is as advertised. Since the wire is a coil of coils of coils, the outside diameter is not a circle. This could be why I measured larger than the standard. Either way, it explains what savvy buyers want to know.. That youre getting ample diameter for the marketed spec.

Man this 0 gauge wire is top notch. You dont need to buy those overpriced brand named 0 gauge wires, the only difference is the brand but quality wise its all the same, well not exactly but with this brand that is the case. Sadly the installer didnt want to use my wire simply because not everything was included like the fuse ect ect. But Ive used it in past applications and it worked flawlessly. Ill be using the wire I have left unused to do the big three and install more batteries so Im still glad I brought it

If your running a high power subwoofer you should not be using small gauge speaker wire. This stuff is very flexible and it is pure ofc. I highly recommend this for your amp to subwoofer applications.
