Intel Core i7-8700K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.7GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W

Ill admit, I bought into it, drove 148 miles to frys when I saw they had 1 in houston. Got it and a motherboard...$600 bucks. I currently have 2 rigs. 1st - 6850K with Asus X-99 AII, 2nd - Ryzen 1700X. This 8700K has got that sparkling number 5Ghz, pay no attention that is only one core than can do that. Pay no attention to the 28 Lanes as opposed to my 40 with my 6850K. How did it go against the 6850K? Im not sure, feel like the same processor to me. I have my 6850K at a stable 4.4Ghz, watercooled. 6 Cores, 12 Threads. Sound Familiar? Gee whiz, odd how it was released but so hard to come by...right before the holidays. Man o man, people are paying $675 all day for this processor on eBay. Well played intel. How did it fair against the 1700X? Well, its a little better in Games I guess, but I play simulators which use as many cores as possible. I saw maybe a maximum of 5% difference between the 1700X and 8700K at 4.0Ghz and 4.6Ghz respectively. So yeah, I wish I could kick the processor back to the vendor...but Id like my money back. Dont get me wrong, Intel makes good stuff, but they dont push it until they gotta make room for the BIG NEW GAME CHANGING FASTEST PROCESSOR EVER! TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 10th!!,,,,Maybe....I mean....they have more, they are just trying to stir as much of a swarm of eager intel puppies as possible that are OK with a Z270 Motherboard....whoops, I mean Z370...cant wait for that Z390 coming out Q1 withthe 8790K....that will be somethin!

I bought the i7 8700k but instead I get this super old Intel card...

Era todo lo que esperaba y mucho más, excelente componente, trabaja muy bien para la edición y render de video y foto, el costo lo senti bien, ya que para el trabajo que menciono los componentes tienen un precio más elevado, pero por su calidad vale cada centavo, lo recomiendo 100% y en cuanto al envío llego 3 días antes, súper bien todo, muchas gracias Amazon por la calidad de su servicio y de sus productos.

Jai monté mon pc avec, produit correspondant à mes attentes. Seul bémol, lemballage était legerement abîmé mais na pas eu de répercutions sur le processeur.

So far its great, mine is running at 4.4gb and using a liquid cooler+artic silver thermal paste im getting about 22-26 Celcius while idle.. and goes up to about 40-50 when gaming.. i upgraded from a 2600k, i wasnt able to live stream in the pasy because my older cpu wasnt capable of the multi task.. but with this one ive got no issues recoridng and streaming and gaming all at the same time, even with some programs open in the background.
