Purchased this i9_10900KF processor for my new audio computer (DAW) build. This machine screams with Pro Tools - Have it overclocked to 5 MHz (not even pushing it yet) - and its running stable and cool (and quiet).

Great processor. KF is no different if you don’t use your on-board video.

This is a beast processor but make sure you have adequate cooling or you will thermal throttle. I was getting throttled trying to hit 5.3Ghz.

PC build. I haven’t used it. Will post how the 10th gen processor held up. I mostly create content, trade and a little gaming.

Such a powerful CPU. Good luck if you have poor or decent cooling system. My previous AIO wasnt able to cool this beast off, idle temp was 90°c!! So I got the NZXT Kraken x63 and now the idle temp is at 28-30°c. If you are thinking of getting this CPU I highly recommend investing in CPU cooling as well.

Unit manufactured incorrectly. Alignment notches are in wrong location for advertised chipset socket.

Great proc. My asrock board not so much.

Excellent thermals and performance from the Cpu. Very easy to overclock - getting 5.2ghz stable with a 360mm AIO set to exhaust at 80c~ under load. A nice upgrade over my 8700k at 5.0ghz!
