As of now, this CPU is still the fastest clocked and DDR optimized CPU I could buy. I bought this CPU for math applications, photo editing, digital audio applications, and, of course, gaming. I didnt prioritize video rendering and graphic creative applications highly nor was I much interested in onboard video and graphics capability through the CPU. And, important to note, I paid substantially less at the time of my purchase, by about 200 USD less than the 600-plus USD Im seeing right now. For my uses and the price I paid this CPU is nothing short of eleven stars.

Purchased this i9_10900KF processor for my new audio computer (DAW) build. This machine screams with Pro Tools - Have it overclocked to 5 MHz (not even pushing it yet) - and its running stable and cool (and quiet).

Great proc. My asrock board not so much.

Great for upgrading my PC, but I had to buy a new motherboard to support this CPU.

Pros: Steadily overclocks to a stable 5.5ghz on all cores under liquid - Doesnt get past 70 degrees Celsius under load.

To be fair, I upgraded from an i7-8700; this cpu is blazing fast and ive only ever gotten up to 80% usage running 3 intensive games at once. I do have one of those beefy Noctua dual fan coolers to keep temps low and stable ( 27°C idle, in general staying around 60°C), as this heats up fast. Make sure you get a proper cooler, as a standard heatsink single fan cooler was pushing 85°C at 35% usage.

Unit manufactured incorrectly. Alignment notches are in wrong location for advertised chipset socket.
