> 3 dayI connected this item the way I thought would work, but it wouldnt work. I visited IOgears site. There, I learned how to properly set it up. After that, it worked flawlessly. I have both a Logitech wireless mouse & an HP wireless keyboard. On one of the PCs connected to this KVM is a Windows 7 PC the other PC is a FreeDOS PC that I use for old MS-DOS software. It all works very well, no complaints whatsoever.

Greater than one weekGreat KVM switch, works perfectly. Note, will not wake a sleeping PC when switching, but I believe that is by design.

> 3 dayThis is a very handy little device when you have a small office. Great use of this device is with a server and workstation sharing a monitor, Keyboard and mouse. Also very handy when doing a computer migration (you can switch back and forth between computers). I just realized that I dont have one in my tool kit at the moment so I am going to order another one!

18-04-2025Works as advertised! No quirky configuration or that kind of garbage. I plugged it in to 2 PCs (already running) and it works on both; didnt need to restart or anything.

> 3 daySimple and effective. I use this solely for USB switching with a wireless HP keyboard and wireless Logitech mouse. It switches super fast and it only uses a single USB connector on each machine.

> 3 dayGreat KVM. Its not simulated so it works with any keyboard and machine. Its reliable and I havent had any lag. Wish the cables in the back were a little softer so that theyd be easier to manage around the desk, but thats just being picky.

> 3 dayUsing so I can share a keyboard and mouse between an iMac and a Win 10 machine. When I first set it up the iMac was running High Sierra. Everything worked fine. Then I installed Mojave and the mouse and keyboard would not work when switching back from Win 10. Tech support claims the switch is Mojave compatible. I read about others having the same issue and one suggestion was to put a USB hub between the iMac and the switch. That worked. No problems since. If not for this issue I would have rated it 5 stars.

> 3 dayAfter trying the Belkin Flip that turned out to be incompatible (I have a Vista desktop, XP laptop & a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse), bought this one after chatting with an Iogear support person who suggested this model for my hardware setup. Works great and saves me great effort to switch between the two PCs that I use. Space saver too. Hope it gives me a long life. Recommend this one for Microsoft/Logitech Wireless keyboard and mouse. Please check with Iogear if your hardware setup is compatible with this switch before buying. Hope that helps.

> 3 dayA KVM, how hard can it be to make a product that has been in the industry for over 20 years? Well, IOGEAR seems to have started by trying to re-invent the wheel. As another review states, the KVM works sporadically and I typically have to hit the button 1 to 3 times to get the KVM to switch computers. ANNOYING. Next thing that really irks me is that the KVM doesnt work on bringing a Windows PC out of standby mode (XP or Vista). IOGEAR support claims that this unit should be able to bring a PC out of standby, but I bought another unit to try it. And that one failed too. Lastly, the design absolutely stinks. Cables coming out of both sides. I was foolish when looking at the picture because it only shows the cables that go to the PCs. Once you plug in your monitor, mouse and keyboard, then you have cables coming out of both sides. Its just really hard to place it anywhere on the desk. I could probably forgive the bad design and the inability for the KVM to work with standby mode, but the fact that I have to switch back and forth and back and forth and back and forth to get the keyboard to work - argh ! Come on IOGEAR - its a freakin KVM. Get it right for the next consumers.
