This work well for all types of cable with the proper adapters. So are I have used on RG6, RG8, RG58 and LMR 400. Not as good as a VNA but sure is a heck of lot cheaper and gives you immediate feedback on whether the cable and connectors are good or not do you dont waster your time. If you are handy you could probably make one of these for yourself but the packaging is beautiful.

The cost was negligible btw this Jonad vs some of the cheap no name brands, so I opted for this. The brand I notice was used by professionals like Timewarner cable guy.

Ive never needed this until recently. My company hired and bunch of newbies and cant do something as simply as labeling correctly. Anyhow, the product is very well constructed and looks like it could take a beating. The built in on off switch is brilliant and the best part is that it takes AAA batterys!
