If you need to trace an RF cable (for cable or satellite TV) you just hook half of this up to one end of the cable, and when you find the right cable, by touching the other end to it, it beeps. Very simple to use.

Found my un-labeled cable wire in 10 seconds. FIVE stars for that. Took away one star because there were no instructions related on how to insert the AAA battery i.e. which side is positive or negative.

The tester worked just as I needed it to. The speaker is quite loud so you can hear it quite a distance away and between multiple rooms or from outside to inside. I am pleased with this product.
