This is the first time I’ve ever replaced an iPad screen. I did have to YouTube how to do it but the directions that come with this are awful! But after watching YouTube I figured it out and now the iPad looks and works like new! Even the home button!

Works pretty good. Does not adhere perfectly so consider getting a separate tape to install but otherwise great replacement screen.

Once the screen was replaced, the iPad didn’t work correctly anymore. The home button was inactive.

So the instructions are not really helpful at all. Had to resort to YouTube. That’s fine but disappointing. Lots of steps. Unfortunately the tools provided to remove the old screen are insufficient but I figured it out. Putting the new piece on was difficult - lots of teeny tiny insertions etc. unfortunately they didn’t provide new tape pieces to cover the connections for the new cables. So if you threw the old ones away you are SOL. Went to put the new digitizer in place....and the screen cracked along the top of the screen against the bezel. Ugh. So so so frustrating. Not sure what I could have done differently. Now I guess I have to buy another one and hope it doesn’t crack this time. Pretty frustrating process...

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this set at an affordable price. It worked perfectly for my son’s ipad!

It was definitely not glass..a plastic screen but it did its job. Just disappointed

Once I had got the old screen off it was easy to install it came with instructions but I googled a video to see how it is done it turned out good it’s just that the bottom right side have a smal space that a piece of paper can fit but on problem when I put a case on it.

Installed this screen replacement after reading the instructions and even watch some YouTube videos. Touch screen works well but the home button doesnt work at all. Messaged the seller and and they said to send the ipad to them. Wth!!! How about send me a good working replacement. Very disappointed in the product that did not work like it advertised

Later review. Digitizer is buggy. It will still activate on occasion when you don’t touch it. Not what you want to go through after spending an hour carefully installing all the micro components. Now I have to find another replacement.

Does the job. I have done ipad screen replacement before so its easy for me. But this screen looks great and my ipad works like new.
