This outdoor dual plug has exceeded my expectations. It works flawlessly with both the app on my phone & Alexa, & resets itself with no issues after power outages. I bought the first a few years ago, & a second last year. Highly recommend.

Love how easy was the setup and it makes life so much easier for outdoor lights. Now, I don’t have to go outdoors to turn the lights off at night. Perfect!!

I use them for my landscape lighting. I simply disconnect the timer feature on the power transformer, plug the transformer directly into the Kasa Outdoor Plug, then use my cell to program what I want. Works great and have had no problems.

I had to get a wifi extender, once I did that, this works great.

The best HomeKit (HK) compatible outdoor plug IMO. Why? You can control both sockets independent of one another in HK/Kasa! I have not come across another HK compatible plug that does this. Quality seems generally adequate and on par with most plugs on the market. Deducting a star for some initial pairing issues with HK--had to power reset one while the other paired immediately. No worries--worked after the 3rd try. Additionally, the socket covers are REALLY soft and flimsy. Not a deal breaker if these are in a covered enviorment but I wouldnt expect them to last long especially if exposed to direct sun for long periods. Overall, there are few HK choices so I consider this the best! Highly recommended--once up and going these work perfectly to power our holiday lights.

I have 2 lights outside ,one on each side of my garage with the 2plugs going into the plug inside the garage. I wanted them to come on automatically at sunset and turn off at sunrise. My first thought was the light sensing bulbs for them but because of a bright streetlight, that wouldnt work. I got the 2 outlet smart plug figuring I could set the time I wanted them on and off but found there is also a sunset sunrise setting which was so much easier to set and since its on the wifi, it uses the location to get the time of the local sunset and sunrise-Perfect!

Works great for my backyard string lights! Very easy to connect and I can use Google to turn on/off. Gained an extra outlet as well! Highly recommend Kasa products.

So I broke out all of our Christmas decorations -- and I had several iHome devices that I only use during the holidays as they are already named, scheduled, and ready to just go.... went to use them and they discontinued their app service and force me to use the Apple home kit which has never worked consistently. So I picked up a few of these to replace the ones I have on a Black Friday deal. Since I already have several Kasa switches and plugs in use, I already knew the procedure to add it to my repertoire of Kasa devices I already own. Within 10 min I had two devices setup and named. I like the independent control of the outlets (I bought the outdoor 2-socket units) and once setup, put them into service. Used the app to turn them on and they simply just work. I then took another 5-min to setup a schedule to turn them on and off and done. I checked last night and they turned off on schedule. The only difference that would make them even better is if the plugs were 90-degree angle plugs. The old ones I had were and fit nicely under my weather resistance outside outlet covers. Fortunately I have deep covers and was able to bend the wire without issue. The other way is just less strain on the wire itself, but again not a big deal whatsoever.
