Finally I don’t have to go out in the middle of a freezing night because I forgot to turn off the decoration lights or left them running till the next day because I was too lazy or forgotten it was on. Works great. And the heavy rain this winter did no damage to it either.

With this product you do not have to wire an indoor switch, to turn the power on to an outdoor light. You dont even have to leave the building..

Works great for my backyard string lights! Very easy to connect and I can use Google to turn on/off. Gained an extra outlet as well! Highly recommend Kasa products.

I had to get a wifi extender, once I did that, this works great.

The plug works great and pairs very well and easily. You will need to have kasa app and the integrate with Google home if Google is your preferred app. There have been few instances when Google assistant has complained about unable to run the routine as the device wasnt responding. Its not a big deal and its fairly common with the current iot technology. The device has survived a freezing rain, snow and 10f. So I am happy with its performance. However, my biggest frustration is that the manufacturers chose to put the max load on the plug as 1/2 hp electric motor. It takes special kind of intelligence to come up with that. Anyways, after a painstaking 30 mins of search, I found that I can plug up to 1400W. If you are unsure, get a load meter to measure before you plug in your load.

it was great but it didn’t have a dim option. if you need a dimmer get the 1 plug. this one doesn’t have it.

This thing is so fast to turn off and on. Like you touch the phone screen and they turn on, is ridiculous how fast this thing is. Durability will determine the if I keep it at 5 stars (hopefully at least 2 years)

The best HomeKit (HK) compatible outdoor plug IMO. Why? You can control both sockets independent of one another in HK/Kasa! I have not come across another HK compatible plug that does this. Quality seems generally adequate and on par with most plugs on the market. Deducting a star for some initial pairing issues with HK--had to power reset one while the other paired immediately. No worries--worked after the 3rd try. Additionally, the socket covers are REALLY soft and flimsy. Not a deal breaker if these are in a covered enviorment but I wouldnt expect them to last long especially if exposed to direct sun for long periods. Overall, there are few HK choices so I consider this the best! Highly recommended--once up and going these work perfectly to power our holiday lights.
