> 24 hourA while back I switched all of our miscellaneous smart home switches, bulbs, and plugs to Kasa and have always been very happy with the ease of setup and product quality. We bought this power strip for my wifes sewing/crafting room to plug in some of her crafting tools. Setup was simple as it is with all Kasa products, and once the power strip was added in the app, each plug showed up as an individually controllable device. They immediately showed up in our Alexa configuration (running the Kasa skill) and she was up and running. The power strip is well made, with a nice length of cord and easy to see lights for each plug so its immediately apparent which is on or off. This lets her know if the iron, glue gun, or other plug is on or off at a glance. Having a couple of USB charging ports close at hand is a nice addition, even if these ports are not smart controlled. We highly recommended this device as well as the other Kasa plugs, switches, and bulbs!

> 24 hourIts cool to be able to turn outlets on/off with the app and even locally via some custom code. Only complaint is that there isnt a way to issue a restart action that turns a device off then back on a moment later. This matters for my router since Id like to be able to use it to restart my router when the internet is acting up. (If I turn it off, Id lose connection and wouldnt be able to turn it back on). Otherwise it works just swell.

> 24 hourThis is by far one of the best power strip I’ve ever bought! I love how easy it was to connect to my phone and also love how I can set the times with my phone! Absolutely perfect for my snake.

> 24 hourI have purchased many Kasa smart products and have enjoyed them all. I have found them to be very reliable until now. Last night my power strip appears to have shorted out in the middle of the night. The lamp and other devices that were plugged in to the powership began flickering on and off and now the power ship is making a hissing noise. This is extremely inconvenient because it was at 2:00 a.m. and I couldnt control my lights and the power strip was behind a nightstand. I will say the other smart power ships that I have bought from the same company have all worked extremely well and Ive not had any issues. Im hoping that this issue is a complete one-off and that the others continue to work without issue

> 24 hourI love the Kasa products and the ability to have control when Im away and to also set schedules for the lighting. I take away one star because every now and then the products seem to lose contact with the app. At first, I thought it was a wifi issue but when I unplug and replug the outlet or bulb, it re-establishes contact with the app immediately. I also tried refreshing from within the app but that doesnt help. I put some of these plugs and bulbs in hard to reach places for the ease of use but if I have to reach the plug then there is no point. It doesnt bother me too much since it doesnt happen that often but it does happen.

> 24 hourI purchased a similar Wi-Fi power strip from Walmart & it connected next to my router, but when I took it in the next room, it would not connect to the Wi-Fi. So I took it back to the store. & I found this one on Amazon & it was super easy to set it up & download the app. I like that it has a timer option or a manual option to turn it on or off. So far it’s great! And it worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

> 24 hourSetting up was a little difficult because the device wouldnt find the WiFi from my phone. I ended up switching my wifi router to manual channel selection on the 2.4ghz. Once I did this, I had to relogin to my wifi on my phone, but it worked to get the kasa plugs connected. Once that was was figured out, it was off to the races easily assigning plugs and connecting them to Alexa.
