I have several other Kasa products, so when my previous smart power strip randomly died one day, I decided to finally shell out the extra dollars to get one from a brand I trust. I love that this power strip has a flat plug and was super easy to set up. Since Id already set up several other of their products, I just had to open up the app and take a few quick steps to be fully powered up. My one big issue with this power strip is the USB ports. For whatever reason, having my phone cord plugged in to the USB port just isnt working. I get a notification on my phone to check my charger connection, even though the cable is properly plugged in and Ive never had an issue with this cable before. My phone still technically charges, but it can take hours and will only actually charge if Im not using it. Other than this issue, Im pleased with the power strip and would definitely recommend this brand to anyone considering smart products!

Have a few. Easy to set up and program. Like that I can also just walk by and manually change easily. Highly recommend.

Ill preface by saying I already have two casa smart plugs and an Amazon plug. I also got this on sale and only paid $24. So Im familiar with smart devices and it was relatively inexpensive. I love being able to control multiple devices with this one strip. I use it for my phone, string lights, and a fan in my room. Its great because I can set timers on everything, so this way Im not wasting energy or killing my battery on my cell. The app makes it pretty easy to set up too. I also like that it has a surge protector so its keeping my devices safe while I use it. I dont like to give things five stars unless it was truly perfect, but this came INCREDIBLY close to my standards for five stars.

I wanna give this 5 stars because its a cool gadget but sometimes it glitches in the app and it messes with my appliances. Also Alexa doesnt recognize the device well.

I purchased a similar Wi-Fi power strip from Walmart & it connected next to my router, but when I took it in the next room, it would not connect to the Wi-Fi. So I took it back to the store. & I found this one on Amazon & it was super easy to set it up & download the app. I like that it has a timer option or a manual option to turn it on or off. So far it’s great! And it worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

I am in the process of setting up a new aquarium and decided to try a smart plug surge protector to plug in the various aquarium-related equipment. I especially was interested in the ability to individually switch off the plug for the aquarium filter for cleaning time. Also being able to use a smart timer for the aquarium light is great. I got the three-AC plug unit as that meets the aquarium needs in a compact form factor. I have been using Kasa Smart plugs for several years and have had the app for all that time. Setting up the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip was easy and done in 3 minutes. It is also working with my Amazon Echo and Alexa (as are my Kasa Smart Plugs). While the plug is flat, it is thicker than the plug on my Belkin power strip (and it does not rotate). The gap between the cabinet and the wall is about an inch whereas it would be maybe 1/4 inch less with the Belkin power strip plug. Also, the plug cable is a little short at 3 feet which limited the placement of the power strip. What else would make this power strip better? I would like to see this in other form factors such as tower or square or in a cable management box. It would make it even more useful for aquarium applications. AUTHCODE CO092922KSPPS

Compatibility with Google Home is good but not consistent. Sometimes one or more of the outlets on this 3-outlet strip are offline to Google Home and Smartthings and can only be controlled remotely by the Kasa app. Once controlled from the Kasa app, its available again to Google Home without a reset.

This smart power strip is the best thing ever. We always worry did we unplug the straightener, curling iron etc. you can set a timer or use ur phone to turn it on and off. Best invention ever. It’s well worth the price, considering the alternative could be a house fire.

Best for using multiple smart devices and controlling it with one switch. Works perfectly but makes a loud click sound every time you turn a device on or off.

Despite the other Kasa products I have this one for some reason was randomly turning on and off the appliances plugged into them, out of my control.
