Kester 24-6337-0027 Solder Roll, Core Size 66, 63/37 Alloy, 0.031 Diameter

This is a full 1 pound spool of Kesters most popular leaded solder for general electronics use. The 0.031 diameter is small enough for working with most PCB components while still big enough for easy general electronics wiring projects.

For a soldering challenged person, I have found this alloy to be easier and less messy than Walmart 60-40 Rosen core. I totally think it is worth purchasing this considering the price after wasting time and material using no name alloy (Radio Shack, Walmart, Autozone). I did also invest in a digital temp controlled iron, that also is worth the $50 spent. I have compared them with this iron on the same project and prefer the Kester.

Kester 44 is the best soldering wire that Ive used so far bar none.

I wish I knew about this years ago, I am 56 years old and I guess just now learning whats the best solder for electrical connections etc. Quickly melts and bonds connections. After doing some research and looking at some videos killing time saw this brand and type. This should last me years.

Makes much better joints and much easier to use than R/S Chinese version. I highly recommend this over other solders.
