What a great purchase. Our boys were both taller and skinny for their age so this helped us get him into a bouncer when his legs were long enough but there was too much room around him. Do wish it came with a washable Cover for the front since drool is an issue. But would buy again, very happy.

Its actually a really nice little thing! For some reason I thought it looked really cheap.... But its not. We threw it in the washer right away and it went into the dryer as well. Its basically two little, thick pillows. Our kiddo is super excited to be in the middle of everything, but very young. Instead of tucking a million blankets around her to go in the swing...this thing is perfect. Weve used it so far in a swing and a little walk around rolly chair. I totally recommend it.

Perfect transitional piece for babies not able to sit up by themselves in swings, walkers, or anything else requiring seating. My 3.5 month old can sit properly in a walker now complete with head support and frontal body support. Suoer soft, plush, very supportive. HIGHLY recommend for active babies looking to be more independent at such a young age without the worry of things being too large. :)

Love this pod. My son had seriously good head control from birth and by 2 months was trying to sit up and didnt want to lay down during our family meals and outdoor play time with our other kids. (Hence why the manufacturer wants this used from 3+- if your kid cant keep their head up dont use this). This pod provides a great solution - swing time out back, the hanging bouncer, the jumping bouncer- this kid is spoiled rotten now. ;) Fabric Feels soft like plush minky with a memory foam styled insert- my son loves it and I get a bit of cry free, hands free time. (Yah right - reality is Im just freed up to go change other kids diapers and cleanup other messes!) It is a little cumbersome for packing for the park, and when they are in it, you have to learn a new safe holding position but quick learning curve. Great registry item btw!

The Huggapod does keep the baby surrounded and helps prevent her from falling sideways or forwards. I wish it could be lowered in the front. Perhaps it cannot be as it might not offer the same support. I have noticed the baby cannot easily put her hands together as in clapping, for example. It is soft and comfortable. She does not complain while embraced by the unit.

This is my second baby, 11 years after the first. When creating my baby registry for my youngest, I saw this and thought “they’ll do anything to make money these days” and moved on with my life… Until I got desperate. This little guy wants to be doing something ALL the time. He never wants to sit still. He never wants to miss out on anything. He’s got a major case of baby FOMO, and he was driving me nuts. Peeing? Forget it. Eating something? Not a chance, mama. I put him in his jumper a few times, but he wasn’t quite strong enough to keep himself completely upright without potentially hitting his little noggin on something. I finally broke down and ordered it. You guys, if you are on the fence, BUY IT. BUY IT NOW. Save what little sanity you have left! As you can see from the photos, he’s able to sit upright in his jumper, I don’t have to worry about him knocking his head on anything if he loses his balance, he can chew on the pad since his coordination isn’t still quite right to get stuff in his mouth but he’s teething like a rabid puppy. I’m able to wipe it clean with a damp cloth. I’ve been using it daily for the last 2 months and it was worth every penny.

I got this after a friend had one. I was able to put my 3 month old in the step and play piano today and I felt that he was much more supported in there. He fit well and that helped him not to slump over. I dont play to use this for long periods of time or unsupervised as he is still working on his head control, although doing pretty well so far. Some people reviewed that the material will make the child extra sweaty if used outside in the summer, I can see how that would happen, but I would rather have this as a barrier between the park swing in the summer heat and my babys skin. And again, wont be used for long or unsupervised. I am glad I knew about this product.

Purchased this item for our infant as he has excellent head/trunk control at only 3 months and was ready for the activity seat but couldnt fill it up yet due to size. This product is really great - my toddler called it the clamshell when we first used it on our infant and its absolutely accurate; it fits like a soft clamshell to provide trunk support. Our infant is so happy to be able to enjoy new experiences like his activity seat I only wish I found this for my firstborn so we didnt have to resort to using rolled up blankets for months!

I have a very petite baby and this works great to support her and fill the space so she can enjoy toys and activities. It is very soft and she seems comfortable in it. The size easily adjusts.
