The set was perfect, right out of the box - didnt need to even boot into BIOS. Just open the bottom of the Asus Rog Strix G15 Advanced Edition laptop with the 300Hz screen, pop out the old ones and slap in the new sticks - Good to go!

Kingston has been very clever how to market this particular 64GB kit ram. Just because it is rated at CL20 @ 3200MHz, it doesn’t mean it’s 10% faster than the typical CL22 ram modules. Yes, in CL category it takes 20 cycles or 12.5 nano seconds to open the data row, but in all other categories it’s rated at 22 or 13.75 ns. I doubt if you get 10% speed increase in a direct comparison with the same system between this 20-22-22 module and any other 22-22-22 modules. If it’s the same price and available, go for it, but otherwise get any 22-22-22 @ 3200MHz. Don’t fall for the hyped numbers.

I was afraid that the memory would come damaged. However, memtest did not reveal any problems. The memory works fine, although on my laptop only 32GB was supported as much as possible (ASUS TUF RYZEN 4800H). Another advantage is that the memory is indeed CL20 (in the screenshot) JEDEC. Real DDR4 3200 64Gb CL20.
