It does what it is supposed to. Light but feels durable. Decent battery life if used a lot.

Buy a more expensive tester that can show individual wires. If 1 wire is broken this tester shows the same reading as if you are testing a completely different cable. This thing wasted hours of my time this weekend running in circles. Avoid.

Great tester. If your making data cables or connections youll want this. Its simple and works great. It helped me identify wiring issues from my builder and have it corrected quickly. The remote has good range so when I wired my poe cameras the remote was outside while the tester was inside. Worked great.

Easy to see connection issues and information flow. Can’t tell me where the damage is buts easier to locate which leg is out.

Struggled with making quality home LAN cables for years, bought this tool which auto checks and diagnosis cables. Cable ends I though we perfect showed a defect and when correctly led work much better. Should have bought this years ago

This does exactly what it says it will do. No more and no less. It doesnt feel like an expensive tool but for the price its a no brainer. This is a must have if you are in IT or are the IT person for you house. It can quickly let you know if there is a short in the wire.

I’ve been using this awesome tool for home internet wiring and making my own length runs. I have very little previous knowledge about networking but this tool has made my learning and practice so much better.

Either I do right termination every time, or this thing shows pass all the time, I cannot tell. I have another one to scan wire-by-wire. But, this is just basic thing. Works OK, I would say...
