If you do cabling this is a must have. Test your cables and know they are wired correctly every time. I love this product.

Does the basics really well. Will tell you if there’s minor issues with your network cable. For more in-depth readings you’ll require a more advanced unit but this is a good entry level device for someone doing a small home or office project. Word of advice keep a small piece of plastic to stop the battery from connecting when not in use or just take it out.

This is the perfect tester for ethernet cables for most applications. Gets the job done, is relatively inexpensive.

Either I do right termination every time, or this thing shows pass all the time, I cannot tell. I have another one to scan wire-by-wire. But, this is just basic thing. Works OK, I would say...

Great tester. If your making data cables or connections youll want this. Its simple and works great. It helped me identify wiring issues from my builder and have it corrected quickly. The remote has good range so when I wired my poe cameras the remote was outside while the tester was inside. Worked great.

It works. I just wish that it told you what wires are the issue.

Does exactly what it says. You can test wall wiring and wired ports if you use a known good cable to give you male ends on both sides. Saved a ton of headache as we had a couple ports miswired in a new building. Knew exactly which ones were bad before we plugged anything in.

I have only used this once but found it worked fine on a properly wired cable. I like the idea of the remote capability which allows for easy determination of a connected cable without having to have both ends in the same place or having to watch led sequences. I do feel that the unit is a little over priced but Im glad I got it.

Definitely worth the buy!
