No crazy advanced features like what the NetAlly does, but it tells me if my cables and ports are wired properly, which is all I need it to do. Its also inexpensive. Recommended.

I was happy to get this, made checking the cables in the wall of our new home easy...and I did find a bad one.

This arrived on time and works as advertised. I had several terminations to make and this allowed me to know they were terminated correctly.

I used it to test RJ11 telephone plugs, and RJ45 ethernet plugs. The tester did find faults before using the defective cables and losing time to do trouble shooting. Its worth the money.

This works great to trace network issues. It works very well.

Good construction & quality - dropped it from the top of a ladder (oops) and it still works fine and has no damage. I like how it tells you not only if your cable is open, but also if youve wired it incorrectly (as in all wires make it to the other side but the order is wrong). Youll generally know exactly what went wrong.

It works. Buy the model with a screen if you do this for work
