> 3 dayAmazingly Simple to use Smart Plug. I already had SMART LIFE app on my phone for other devices. So it was very easy to setup. Although, the unit came with excellent Manual, I would need not just any glasses to read but 100x magnifier to read it, it is that small. Easy steps to connect 1) Have your home wifi password handy 2) Download Smart Home app from app store (register and log in and write down your password somewhere safe) 3) Plug the Smart plug in an outlet 4) Hard Press any button for about 5 seconds and the light will start blinking 5) Open Smart Home app, and it will automatically show the available device, Smart Plug Duo 6) Click to connect, it will ask for your wifi password and take few seconds to connect if it doesnt try this step again and it will work. 7) test it out by plugging in anything and enjoy. 8) be creative. I am going to use it to turn the lamp on if there is any motion detected on my outside camera. You will have to use IFTTT for this. 9) it automatically connected me to my ALEXA and Google Home service. But you may have to provide access to it and can use it with your voice commands which is awesome. The response time for the switch is pretty fast and you can turn on or control both at the same time. I am so far pretty happy with this unit. Will keep updated as I use it. I was hoping to connect this in my yard to automate the outside lighting but cannot due to its size. I need a single plug as I have rain cover on the outlet outside. I got this unit for free for review but I would have happily paid for this as it is very functional. If you liked me review and learnt something from it why not like it. Thanks.

> 3 dayEasy to get up and working through the app. Does work great with app. I can not get Alexa to recognize it.

> 3 dayThe app continued to timeout. I went to the online help, and it was worthless. I sat next to the router and it still wouldnt configure. I dont doubt that the experience of others is good - but mine was incredibly frustrating. Ive tried multiple times over the last few weeks - and the same answer - on two different phones.

> 3 dayWhen I first got there, I was skeptical. But a few days later, I decided to give a few minutes of setup. What I discovered is that...like Siri and other devices...you learn how a thing as you play with them. Currently, I have just some blocks to play within which I can turn on a light and turn it. As well, I also have it set up to remember things. Once you are in the groove...who can stop!

> 3 dayI use these for my Christmas tree and star on the tree. Love the timer so I dont have to unplug or plug them back in. When I get up they are lit up and just when I get ready for bed they are off. Awesome!

> 3 dayI have to reset the outlets minimally once per day. Completely defeats the purpose of having them. They constantly go offline. When they work, they are great. But that is few and far between! Highly recommend…avoiding…

> 3 dayPros: Uses standard Smart Life app. Easy to set up. Does not cover the other outlet. Has two plugs and you can control them separately through the app (but not through talkint Alexa) Con: Cant get the plugs to work independently when asking Alexa to turn them on/off.

> 3 dayI like that these plugs double my usable outlets and they work with Alexa. Once set up, these KMC Smart Plug Duo, 2-Outlet Wi-Fi Smart Plugs work independently of each other! That is great. I can turn off one outlet and the other outlet is independent and stays on. I was also able to name a group to my plug to work together if I want. Set up is not difficult, it took me about 30 minutes the first time to download the app and set up. I just took my time. The second plug set up went by in about 10 minutes. I spent more time trying to name the outlets, for ease of use. If you can set up Alexa you can easily add these outlets. See my pictures.
