I liked the cheap price. Although it was more difficult to set up than all the Kasa smart plugs I have purchased, it did work after a successful set up. Then it stopped working, after, like, a day or less. I re-did the set up, and it worked again, but then it stopped working again. I think I did this three times total, then gave up. Maybe it is just a settings issue. But I couldnt figure it out. I did figure out all the Kasa products, and recommend them.

This was so reasonably priced I was worried about quality. But its great. It is as good as the much more expensive smart plugs that I own. No downside. It was easy to download App and connect with both Google and Alexa. Having two separate, controlable plugs is really a GREAT feature. Glad I bought two... will probably buy even more.

Do you use KMC app or Smart Life app? Online says KMC and the instructions say Smart Life. Either way, you have to download yet another app before you can use this. Since it says it works with Alexa or Google Assistant, I thought it would be just a plug it in and talk to Alexa. Goes to show you Im not as tech savvy as I hoped I was. I would use the KMC app as that is the manufacturer of the plug. Then you have to decide which device you want the plug to use. Since all our lamps are 3-way, I cant see the plug knowing how to use 1, 2 or 3 settings. Since there are no other devices I can see that would need voice control in our home, I dont plan on using this plug. It will be a good Christmas present for my youngest son who is much more tech savvy than I.

I ordered this KMC Smart Plug 2-Outlet Plug because I wanted to have the flexibility of two female plugs on one outlet. I didnt quite realize how complicated it is. To begin with, both Outlets have a switch on the device to power them on or off. I really cant see any advantage to this; Id rather that they were both perpetually on so I dont have to check the power indicator and switch them on or off each time I use it. This is not a major inconvenience, I just dont see the need for it. And the device has an App you can download to your phone, so you can control the output with Alexa or Google Assistant. This allows you to set parameters according to, time, sunrise/sunset, weather or more. Personally, I cant think of a single use I would have for any of these functions. As I said, I just wanted a Dual Outlet on one plug and thats all I was really interested in. I suppose the extra functions are nice, I just wont ever use them. I do like the functionality of this device for the purpose I ordered it and I cant say it doesnt work well. I do recommend this Smart Plug for whatever the reason you want it and my rating is Four Stars.

When I first got there, I was skeptical. But a few days later, I decided to give a few minutes of setup. What I discovered is that...like Siri and other devices...you learn how a thing as you play with them. Currently, I have just some blocks to play within which I can turn on a light and turn it. As well, I also have it set up to remember things. Once you are in the groove...who can stop!

Alexa, turn the Christmas trees off! Its THAT easy. 1. Install the KMC app and sync the plugs (took me maybe 2 minutes max?) 2. Open the alexa app and associate the plugs (under the outlet/plug section, go figure!) 3. command those lights! These have the added feature of TWO plugs per outlet, each of which has a physical on/off toggle on the switch for individual work. In my experience, Alexa just commands the unit as a whole, but the KMC app lets you run each outlet. Easy, cheap, works!

Very difficult to use

Good dual smart plug. Works with the Smart Life app and the sockets can be controlled individually. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the two physical buttons are on the front and get covered by whatever power adapters you insert. You cant get to them unless you plug out the power adapters. Its not a biggie, but still its annoying. Recommended.

The plugs work, but they didnt want to integrate with our Alexa. Weve tried for months. It would turn one thing off and another thing on, and never got everything to work properly. We finally gave up trying to use them with Alexa and just used them with the app... which is clunky. So we stopped using them when we moved.

They are good wifi plugs,this is the second set !! I will buy again
